It’s probably broken in terms of an error message and I might know what the problem is and should be an easy fix for when I get back to Florida. Overall, it should turn on-ish. Just got to get a power cord and HDMI.
I finally got all the components to hard mod my og xbox and flashed the rp2040 with Prometheos and soldered the d0 wire but once booting up it shows the Prometheos logo for a few secs then blue screen
it worked one time and when I shut it off and turned on again I couldn’t get it to do it again tried re flashing again multiple times and re soldering the connections as well but still no luck
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Should I do this trade? The 360 has a taped disc tray and it's look mad tough and fine. I am dying to play sneak king on the 360 and was wondering if this trade was genius. I paid $500 for the series x and even more for the series x games.
Anyone know of any reputable sellers? I've heard it's a bad idea to buy the kits off Amazon or eBay and a lot of the recommendations I see on the sub are sellers based in the US.
All capacitors look perfectly fine. No bulging at all. I tested the power supply in another unit and has no issues.

I have an old Xbox that I got working; however, the disc drive won't read any discs. In my research, it seems like the standard hard modding route involves using a burned disc to format the new HDD after it's installed in the console. My question is, what is the easiest route to go about hard modding/installing a new HDD without being able to read discs?

YO! I picked up a broken Xbox 1.0 and been troubleshooting it. Original issue was "Powers on, but no display/Post." Here's what I know:
Symptoms:
Any ideas on what could cause it? Should I try my hand at replacing caps?
Possible bad RAM? IDE controller issue? Any help appreciated!!! I'm very new at trying Xbox repair!
Also, I know this system needs a good cleaning :)
