OnePlus Never Die | Never Settle [Rumours]

OnePlus Never Die | Never Settle [Rumours]
OnePlus stays the "performance beast" for flagship lovers.
realme remains the "budget king' targeting the youth segment.
But now they're running under a "unified strategy" inside the OPPO family.
What’s changing?
- Both brands keep their own identity and positioning
- They’re sharing R&D, product planning, and supply chain resources
- A central product team handles development for both China and global markets
Why it makes sense
- No more internal competition between OnePlus and realme
- Much clearer product lineup
- Better efficiency and lower costs
- Faster development without losing their unique vibes
Quick Positioning Recap
OPPO→ Innovation + High-end camera king
OnePlus→ Performance & flagship experience
realme → Value for money + youth-focused
Smart move by OPPO. They’re basically turning their sub-brands into a well-organized squad instead of fighting each other.

I got this phone weeks ago and while I usually am not interested in mobile gaming I decided to give a try to Arknights Endfield for the first time and after playing for a while and removing the phone from my Razer Kishi I noticed that it felt quite hot. I was using Bypass charge as I thought that it would keep the temps lower. The battery temperature was maybe 1-2 degrees higher when I stopped playing minutes before I took the screenshot. Should I be worried about faster battery degradation with these temps or is it normal for a gaming phone like this one?
Update: I decided to play where I left yesterday, same settings and connected through bypass charging as well and to my surprise after having played for maybe like hour the temps weren't as bad as yesterday's, had CPU temps around 50-55° and the battery was 38° C. What I think would be the cause of the overheating would be that:
I bought a OnePlus 15 and aftermarket charger. Charger gets real hor during charging and is a little light in weight as compared to Xiaomi 120W charger.
Plz let me know if somebody can pick it up.
I'm so tired of seeing these clowns constantly saying OnePlus is going to shut down, OnePlus is finished, their displays will get green lines, pink lines, and everything else. It’s exhausting.
Despite all these "OnePlus will die" predictions, people are still buying the phones like crazy. I saw the prices have gone up in the market. Demand is so high that the OnePlus 15 is already stock out across Asia. Yet here we are with the same "OnePlus is dead" jokes 🤣
And then there’s that one so-called YouTuber (not naming him, don’t feel like it) who regularly bashes OnePlus but rocks the OnePlus 15 as his daily driver. The hypocrisy is actually funny.
This is what "OnePlus is finished" looks like, apparently.
Meanwhile, the self-proclaimed tech gurus keep pumping out video after video: "See how OnePlus is shutting down", "They don’t give us collabs so we’re exposing them", "Look guys, look look look" 😭🤣
I have not recieved any updates apart from one when I first started my device. Recently I updated my phone through Beta section but now that is also closed. Should I complaint regarding this somewhere or else it's the issue with my device?
Is anyone having the same issue? Wifi connectivity is getting progressively worse and worse every day and I'm worried I soon won't be able to connect at all. Webpages, youtube, various apps, they're all struggling. What should I do?

Do jeans stain the white version?
Does anyone's Google play store stutter when scrolling on the list when viewing "apps not installed on this device"?
I can get about 1/4 down the list and then it starts stuttering like crazy and I can't go further down the list of apps I have previously downloaded on my other phone
So I bought my OP15 from the US oneplus store, and apparently the NA version doesn't allow you to do some stuff that is available in other regions like India or China
The one that come to mind are lockscreen widgets which for whatever reason are not available in the NA OOS. They seem like such a cool thing to use and I want them.
There are also other lockscreen and customization options I've seen that are not available to me. And I would like tot know if anyone knows if they can be enabled through ADB or by installing some apk
Man I was tired of all the "normal" phones, had many S2X Ultras, Z Folds and iPhones before, but iOS 26 got on my nerves too much and Samsung quite frankly felt boring (also battery life on my Z Fold 7 sucked) that is why I got this phone, used it since December and since last month it is giving me SO MANY ISSUES, not just small issues, but frustrating issues, battery is still top notch, but it is a phone and I shouldn't have to restart my phone every day to make a call - sometimes I start calling someone and the phone just doesnt start the call. Only thing that fixes it is a phone restart. Then sometimes Tiktok just gets "broken" it freezes and even after turning the app off and on again it freezes again, only fix is once again restarting the damn phone. Instagram - few messages I sent I see only on my side, but the person on the other side just doesnt get the messages - there is no fix for this. Sometimes this creates a very frustrating situation, where my 1000 dollar phone is getting the laugh. But honestly, it is laughable, my cortisol was very low when I bought it, but the longer you use the phone, it starts spiking your cortisol levels and a phone shouldnt do that. Oh and THE LAG some apps just take some time to switch to high refresh rate, mainly Snapchat, it has the laggiest scrolling I have ever seen for like 5 seconds after opening the app, then it switches to 120hz and all is good, but once again, things like this shouldnt happen and it is not only in SC, it happens on other apps as well, even Reddit :) And yes, I have high refresh rate mode as prefered in settings.
I thought it was a software issue, so I updated the phone (with the help of external app from Play Store, becouse the phone didnt offer me any updates since february) and it didn't change anything. The same behaviour continues. Also also, I have esim + sim, but the issue happens on both carriers. So no, it is not a sim card issue, not even carrier issue. That was my first thought as well. And the apps issues? Well, it could be that the apps just suck, I would accept that, but in combination with the calling issue, it is really really frustrating experience.
Mine is still at 100% after 4/5 months (i guess?) of owning it. I am still very happy with the battery life it never dies after a full day
I'm looking at those "cheap" export sets in local stores (Sim Lim/Far East) for the Oppo Find X9 Pro, OnePlus 15, and Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The price gap between the China ROM and official Global is huge, but I need the truth from people who actually bought them.
For those using "Flashed Global ROM" units in SG:
The L1/L3 Disaster: Did your unit come with Widevine L1 (HD Netflix) or did it drop to L3 (480p) because the bootloader was unlocked for the flash?
Banking Apps: Are PayLah, DBS, and Google Wallet working, or does the "Device not certified" status in the Play Store kill them after a week?
The Update Trap: Are you actually getting OTA updates, or is the phone stuck on the version the shop flashed?
eSIM: I know China hardware is physical Dual-SIM only, but does the flashed Global ROM even show an eSIM option in settings (even if it doesn't work)?
For those on the Original China ROM:
I'm trying to confirm if these local stores are just selling tampered L3 units that will brick on the next update. Give me the real experience, no theories.
Hey everyone I receive it as gift from my wife as I was wanted to return back to Oneplus for several years but never did it.
I have notice a bug and I am not sure if it is general or I need to return it back, in random times the phone logout from SIM (not eSIM), and ask for PIN again, that happened at least 7-8 times in random cases the last week.
Do i need to return it or we have any solution to that already?
Thanks in regards
Update 12/05/2026: I did not had any issues for the last 24 hours hope it stays like that. I will update in 2 days again.
