Tailgating in Curt Flood parking lot?

Hey all! Does anyone have any experience tailgating in the Curt Flood lot before Ballers games? Nothing too crazy e.g. Raiders at the Coliseum. Maybe just some beers and music. Couldn't find anything on the website against tailgating. Looking forward to the upcoming season!

This is a rough cut and I still have to overlay some talk/audio on it, but I'm so happy to have shot video this year. Major upgrade from my pregame read from last year.

Over an hour from Raimondi Park deep into the South Bay, I go and run some errands while rocking a brand new fitted dark green B’s hat (they restocked online). First stop I go inside and place an order for food, as I’m doing this I hear “nice hat.” I turn around and this person is wearing the same B’s hat! Both had big smiles on our faces and shortly leave with my food. So that made my day already. About 30 seconds away I make another stop and go inside. I go in and look to my left and it’s another person wearing the SAME Ballers hat. I of course had to let him know there’s now three Ballers hats within a half mile.

Even an hour+ away from Raimondi I got a nice reminder that Oakland baseball is here to stay. We’re just getting started.

So, I helped make a thing happen, along with my friends Peter Ferioli (Secretary of the Oyster Bay Disc Golf Club) and Casey Pratt (the Ballers' VP of Communication and Fan Entertainment).

On Thursday, July 9th vs the Modesto Glow Riders... ahem, Roadsters... will be the first Disc-a-Round and Find Out Night. Here's the deets (to my understanding/early game plan):

  1. Even if you don't care about disc golf, you like the Ballers and Thursdays being $5 beers and $10 wine/cocktails at Raimondi pregame. So, use code DISC25 here and get 25% off your tickets for the game!
  2. If you like playing disc golf, sign up for the MVP Discs Circuit Challenge here. There are currently five out of the total sixty spots available, and your package includes a game ticket and three 'free' MVP discs to play the event with. The winner of the event will be throwing out the first pitch or first disc (TBD).
  3. I will be challenging ICE COLD KENNY to a game of Knockerball. Kenny is built like a defensive end so I may die, I may not. Please come, politely clap and be entertained.
  4. We are finalizing the design, but the first 200 fans through the gates will get a Guy Sliwinski-designed disc. Final iteration and colorways are a work in progress, but here is an early mockup is embedded in this post.

That's about it for now. Is the season here yet?!

Got an email that said: "As a holder of Fan Stock in Oakland Ballers Baseball Club, Inc., we are writing to request your consent to an amendment to your 2024 Fan Rights Agreement and 2024 Fan Voting Agreement." When I went in the portal, I think it said the amendment is being amended. I did not see on the dashboard if I should go someone place else.
Did anyone else get the email and/or try to access the e-docs? TIA. (edited: typos)

Ballers announced on Twitter yesterday that Matsuoka has been released, which was a bit of a surprise to me given that camp is starting soon…

Best wishes to Dylan who leaves the organization a champion!

I was thinking previously that he would have a shot at a rotation spot, so with that out the window I’m thinking probably something like

  1. Tanner 2. Blowers 3. Rissas 4. Risse 5. Washington/Burkett

Should be an interesting camp, I think those top 2 spots are really the only ones that are super secure
