I've been trying to figure out why my moped will not idle. After extensive research and testing i've concluded that I'm pretty sure the clutch us stuck engaged. I've managed to take off my transmission cover and everything to the untrained and ignorant mind looks good. Teeth are pretty, no shrapnel everywhere. The only issues I see before digging deeper is the washer shims on the clutch housing and gears look bent. Could this be my issue? I figured it would be the one way bearing but it seems to be going... one way.

Hello I inherited this bike and for the life of me I can't figure out how to get it to start it is a 1978 scorpion scx 2 and when I go to start it the engine will put and sound like it's trying to run but will never actually turn over after I let go of the clutch in the video the engine stops when I let go of the clutch I tried pushing and also pedaling on the stand to try to get this engine to start but it won't it will just put and act like sound like it wants to start but when I let go of the clutch it won't start so far I have engaged the cold start lever which had no effect and changed out the spark plug to a new spark plug and that had no effect I really need some help I can't find any information on how to fix this I will also provide a photo of the engine in the comments and any other pictures you guys need thank you so much for your help in advance

Working on my neighbors 1980 piaggio si and I took the side cover off and I am missing the front drive pulley does anyone know where I can get a new one?

I know this isn't technically a moped but the smallest road legal Motorcycle I could find . Its equiped with a 22 cc chainsaw engine and it weight only 22 kilos . Does anyone know something smaller?

Hey Leute, die Hauptwelle (die wo das Ritzel dran ist) in meinem Moped ist mir letztes gebrochen. I recently picked up this 78 Honda Hobbit at a swap meet for a pretty good price, it’s all there but just needs a little work to get it running. I recently found an AMF

It’s a 1990 Italjet Shopping 50

My question is, I’m a 145 lb woman, the bike is nearly 300 pounds. Are there any tips to maneuvering this thing besides practicing? I’m riding well, it’s just heavy and I want to know any tips on moving it around.

Anything I need to know on roads? I will be using to commute about 5 mins from home on some back roads and some main roads.

Anything I need to avoid or need to know that may not be obvious?

Took the Honda to the river. Didn’t catch anything but it was pretty.

I bought in 2008 Schwinn moped from a coworker for $100..

Initially fired right up and ran well..

Now even IF I get it started, it won't stay running..

I’ve adjusted the throttle screw already but no fix..

I bought a new battery, it needed it, still no fix..

Leads me to believe it’s a carburetor issue..

I’m no mechanic and need assistance determining where all these loose hoses/disconnected things go to..

Any help appreciated.

Hey yall i just got a 86’ qt50 i believe all stock still. Runs great for the most part but once i reach about 25mph i start bogging. I’ve messed around with the carb intake a bit but doesn’t really seem to make a big difference at top speeds. Ive been running a premix this first tank just cause i wasnt sure if the injection was working (still not totally sure but i believe it is working atlest a slow drip cause its seems a little smokey) anyways where should i start looking to resolve this if its not a air intake issue? Could running oil heavy be the problem or should i just jump into carb rebuild? Thanks yall! So hyped on my purchase, this thing rips even at 80%!

I got an airsal 65cc build and need to put a switch or something on it to limit it to 25km/h when the police checks.

Sorry for the lighting all are the same sparkplug at the same time. The top speed is ass and I need to almost rev it to max rpm to shift so it can actually gain speed. It never makes it to the last gear… someone please help. Ty?
