Anyone get annoyed when people misrepresent the ending?
Oh they never answered anything and everyone dead the whole time... drives me crazy! What's with people's comprehension skills?

My dad 3D printed this for me and it’s the best thing ever!!! If someone’s interested I might be able to get him to send the link (if you use links for 3D printing, idk how that whole world works)
Edit: he’s out buying burgers for my mom right now, but when he comes back I’ll have him get me the link for you all
Edit 2: it’s been commented, ty dad
I honestly can't believe it haha
I recently started watching From as I was told it was similar to LOST and have some thoughts.
First of all, there are definitely a large amount of similarities between the show right off the bat. The mystery box, the in-show theories, the fact that both shows technically start with a big crash, etc.
But what I've come to realize as I've continued watching is that From is basically a version of LOST where the focus is entirely on the mystery as opposed to the characters. Most of what we learn about the characters in From comes from drawn out dialogue as opposed to action and we have nothing that resembles the flashbacks.
Turns out that the flashbacks are what make LOST work so well. It allows the show to build its characters in a very deep way and that makes the story so much more gratifying as it progresses.
I've found From to be an extremely mid version of LOST due that shift in storytelling style.
And you thought YOU had angst on Mother’s Day. Imagine how J & MIB must feel!
Rose and Bernard were the sweetest, then Sun and Jin once they resolved their conflict.
Personally I didn't think Shannon and Sayid had any chemistry.
I’ve been watching them all on YouTube this morning and it’s been a while so I cried a lot.
Desmond
Locke
Hurley with Libby
Kate/Claire/Charlie
Juliet and Sawyer
Sun and Jin
Sayid and Shannon
Jack
For me it was Kate/Claire/Charlie. I don’t know if it was the acting or the fact that there were three characters(four if you include Aaron) remembering in one scene but it was so intense.
You all everybody!
Check my idea of LOST and discover what the Island hiding! Truly appreciate if you support the project by your vote. With 10K votes, this idea has a chance to become a real LEGO set!

Everybody gets all hung up with what happened with Oceanic 815 but I don't see the recognition that the island had an ancient history that is barely touched on. The four-toed foot statue. The story of Jacob and his brother. All of that hints at a much deeper story. I would love to see a LOST prequel.
I was shocked to see the only redeemable factor in this season of Euphoria is the villain, who also played Mr. Ekko! He will definitely be at least up for contention come Emmy season.
Now I’m gonna rewatch and keep a close eye on Mr Ekko. The accent switch is going to be jarring as hell.
watched this in '25 but i have a terrible memory so get to re experience it fully in the rewatch! really excited to watch the bonus content too, got season 2 as well on boxset
I think the main explanation why Kate was so upset and crying about was not because she wanted Sawyer
to be her lover, but because she was guilty of “leading to Juliet’s death”. I defend kate because she did not had anything to do with Juliet’s death. I think that is the main reason why she was crying. Hell, the actress did a phenomenal job portraying her.
I just finished Lost and now I am LOST in trying to find a new TV show to watch. The aspects of the show that I appreciated the most were the large scale story and extensive and mysterious mythology that grew with time. It felt very DND-style in its stories and I appreciate that. What are some recommendations? I’ve heard The 100 is good, otherwise what else is there?
Return to the Island with crew of 815 passengers. Destiny is in your hand now! With 10K supporters project has a chance to succeed and become a real LEGO set. Countdown run!
To be clear, I’m not asking if it would have been a better show, we know it wouldn’t have been so that’s not the question.
However, if the show had gone down the original vision, Survivor as a drama series, with the same talented show runners and writing team, actors and characters, in depth back stories and arcs, same storylines but with a psychological explanation rather than supernatural, would the Lost fandom have got behind it and could it have been as successful?
Obviously there’s no straightforward transition for events from S4 onwards and storylines would have had to change but could they have made it work initially?
TLDR If JJ, Damon and Carlton had gone with the original network idea of making Lord of the Flies rather than Lord of the Rings, would it have been a success and adopted by current fandom?
I can’t believe it bro.. Ana Lucia was my favorite bro. She really got smoked by Michael. 😭 MICHAEL YOU BECAME THE WORST CHARACTER AHH
I did a bit curious reading of the first time watcher threads some months ago. There was not much interest in this episode, and it’s kinda normal I guess, it’s slow. there is no shock value traditionally. no hook either, I guess. so definitely not for everyone.
But it’s a one that has a personal value to me from day 1, and even though that’s my bias, I always thought if people watch the whole series and look back on this one, they may just find it more interesting or valuable or at least important. Here are some of my favourite examples about how this episode sets up many themes and how it connects to the rest:
- It sets up Locke's fascination about the island and his arc. The words "crazy people think they are getting saner" and "this place is special" means a lot for the rest of the story.
-Locke talks about the "eye of the island" which then appears to be a real place in later seasons.
-It sets up Jack as he breaks down when he sees things he can’t understand or have a grasp of. In first 4 episodes before this, he rather holds it together good, until he sees the coffin empty and he can’t explain anyhow. Then he cracks for the first time.
-Jack smashing the coffin begins this story in White Rabbit. In season 6, the last episode of him "Lighthouse", Jack smashing the mirrors ends it. Right after that, he is ready to accept the unexplainable.
-Jack being manipulated by MiB to fall from an edge of the cliff in "White Rabbit". In The End, he ends up pushing MiB from a cliff instead.
- And of course "if we can’t live together, we’re gonna die alone" connecting to the end, when he almost dies alone (and maybe he fears it) then Vincent doesn’t let it happen.
I'm not gonna mention how the ep sets up father&son and many other themes, and how emotionally reflective it is for me (it's actually my fav episode so I don’t wanna go there)
I wanted to randomly write these connections from White Rabbit to the later story. And I think these connections and juxtapositions, which all seem so natural, lets the writing deserve yet another praise.
Sawyer is unique in that he survives through all 6 seasons, while never getting to do something truly important.
I'm specifically discussing how important each character is to the progression of the story. It's not about how much fans like the characters, or how much screen time they have.
The "big five" -- Desmond, Locke, Jack, Hurley and Ben. All five of them have important purposes in the story. Main events don't happen without them.
And then we have Charles Widmore, Richard, Jacob and MIB who are also important to the story.
I would argue Kate and Faraday are also more important than Sawyer. Kate because she is a female protagonist and a top billing star on the show. Daniel Faraday because he's responsible for explaining the time travel mechanic to other characters, and to the audience.
Sadly, that leaves Sawyer out of the top 10.
Sawyer has always been someone who's kinda just there, rolling with the madness, surviving. He caused some events and assisted in some other events. But he's never a central or leading force.
I loved manifest and i love this kinda alternate timeline stuff
But the main thing for me is that finaly conclusion and how they get to it, that intrigue is what holds me throughout
i think i know how it ends:
>!They all are actually just thinking/dreaming about all of this!<
Should i still watch it?
Is it better than manifest?
Cuz ppl really dog on that show
