Ugh, these Day 2 hangovers are really getting me down. Shot day is ok but the next 12-36 hours are TOUGH! Feels like the flu partnered with morning sickness! Anyone find some helpful fixes? (I’ve been taking since Sept 2025).

Restarted today after a 10 week break (medical issues, not by choice). I gained 16.0 pounds exactly in that time. Pushed my BMI back to 28.4 and I have been really really down on myself these past few weeks. Hoping it's a smooth restart and I don't have to battle with many side effects. I spent my entire journey at Zepbound 2.5 (though to be fair I draw my whole vial) and lost 56 pounds in 10 months. Time to update my flair for the restart!

Today is the start of my 6th week. I have five weeks of experience behind me. Here's my biggest Ah-Ha moment....

The medication makes it possible for me to eat well while I exercise in order to become healthier.

The medication isn't a fix-all. I could easily just eat barely anything and drop weight like crazy and lose a lot of muscle. I'd probably lose some hair and my skin would get saggy.

BUT - I'm using the medication as ONE TOOL in this journey. The medication quiets or eliminates the obsessing about food and turns food into something that I need in order to live - not something I live to have.

I'm pretty sure at first I was just not eating enough - because I simply didn't want to. As I learned and got more information (even though my primary care doc told me about 10 times to make sure I focused on protein and to get 100g per day minimum) I started tracking my food because at NO TIME in my entire life have I been even remotely fine with eating so little. Honestly, I didn't know what a normal portion size was.

Tracking helps that. Now I'm able to find meals that give me between 25-30g of protein. I'm starting to know naturally what that looks like, but the tracking helps me be sure until it's totally natural. I also saw that I was not having many carbs, so I've been adding in some different complex carbs with meals to balance out my nutrition.

Maybe the nutrition thing comes easy for some of y'all, but it has NOT been so for me!

Tracking my shots and any symptoms/side effects on Glapp has been super helpful also because I can see what's going on with my body and show that data to my primary doc when we meet. I have a body comp scale at home, so I'm able to track the changes in not only weight, but also body fat, subcutaneous fat, muscle mass, and visceral fat. I'm trying to focus on slow, steady FAT loss with minimal muscle loss. Consistent strength training and protein help me stay on top of that.

We will see posts all around with people dropping crazy amounts of weight in short time periods. Just remember that each person is different and in order to succeed, it's important to be intentional about the entire journey and see the medication as ONE TOOL that we can rely on.

Overall I'm really happy with my first five weeks and look forward to feeling in control of staying on track and keeping my body in a healthy state while losing fat.

Thanks to everyone on here who provides information, experiential wisdom, and encouragement. It's really appreciated!

Researching nad+ peptide and wondering how most people start with peptides?

Do you begin with a goal first match it to a peptide then compare ven͏dors after that. What is the process of choosing a vendor? Pr͏ice per mg, Janoshik, COA, HPLC date, reddit feedback, ship͏ping? Also what tools do people use for this? spreadsheets anything like that?

My go to post shot day

Day one and two when I have no appetite I love these bone broth packets. Do you have a go to product for low appetite days?

Moving shot day

Have any of you moved your shot day? Whats the easiest way? I originally did Friday but I think I want to move it to Sunday so misery will be MonTues instead of all weekend. I am now at Thursday. Thinking of going back a day every week unless there is a better way🤷‍♀️

Face too skinny & sunken!

Hi ladies! So… pretty much the title. I’ve reached my goal weight and it shows in my face… and not in a good way. My girl who does my Botox is suggesting Sculptra but I really don’t want to spend the money. Also, the results aren’t visible for a few months with Scuptra, which I don’t really like. I want to know right away if it looks OK…

Anyone else in this boat and what are you doing to plump and rejuvenate your face?
