They should do a collab and call it Beauty Marked
Gosh I love their natural freckles so much. It pisses me off so much when in every photo they’re whitewashed to the max and you can’t even tell they have freckles. Let the freckles free please😭
What did LOONA even do to get the fanbase that they got?
Okay I know Loona goes under ODD EYE CIRCLE or ARTMS now, and I think Chuu's a soloist but I'm just gonna call them Loona for this because it's the most well known name they have.
Anyways, I'm wondering but what did Loona even do to get the fanbase that they have? I know some of the insane Orbits have died down now but back then, Loona was known to have one of the most rabid, weird, and toxic fanbase for some reason. I understand with groups like Blackpink and BTS since they are very popular, but Loona isn't even on that level and they are known to have some of the craziest fans for whatever reason.
Back then I remember Orbits just commenting "STAN LOONA" on almost everything. Things not even related to Kpop in any way shape or form had Orbits just spamming STAN LOONA for some reason. Even on other Kpop posts nowadays, I still somehow come across comments on group pages like NCT with Orbits talking about stanning Loona.
It got even worse that some Orbits back then would be commenting Loona based things on actual posts about serious topics. I remember people posting about celebs that passed away, or something along those lines and I would still see Orbits commenting "Well... maybe if you stanned Loona", which I know is a joke but commenting this on actual serious topic posts was just so baffling to me.
But not even just commenting STAN LOONA on posts, but Orbits in general are known to make such strange memes. On Instagram I came across and account called "Loona_periodblood_tracker" or something along those lines and there are many, many Loona based accounts that have some unhinged username and posts like this. I find it even funnier that the comment sections on said posts are just full of the most random shit I've seen, stuff not even relating to the group and it sounds like a bunch of people going through something together.
So I'm wondering, is there a reason onto why Loona had such crazy fans? Because I genuinely feel bad for the girls, they did nothing wrong and got all of these people representing their fandom.

S.Coups announced Seventeen has renewed with 13 members and will continue to sail on a same boat together at New_ encore
Watching SEVENTEEN’s journey has honestly been amazing. Some of us have been here since the Like Seventeen days in 2013, watching a bunch of teenagers doing missions and performances on livestreams, so hearing S.Coups announce at the encore concerts that all 13 members will be renewing their contracts and will continue to sail on the same boat together. this is their third time as well and felt really incredible.
Even the weather at the encore felt weirdly perfect. There was thunder and heavy rain, and it was perfect because their 10th anniversary lead single song 2025 was called “Thunder” ⚡ It almost felt like a blessing and celebration
they even played April shower and Water as well with Thunder
Wonwoo and Jeonghan were there at the concert, but Hoshi and Woozi couldn’t get leave from the military. And with SEVENTEEN’s current military era, they won’t be able to tour as a seventeen for a while since more members will be enlisting soon.
But there’s still a lot to look forward to Caratland, fan meetings, more subunits and tours, Going Seventeen, and more music releases.
Jeonghan will also be discharged in June, so even with everything going on, they’re still continuing as 13.
seventeen with incredible backstory and top tier Group in the industry with complex member structure continuing as the same 13 for over 10 years.
Scoups and Woozi friendship with longest timeline, has been 17 years. Since scoups joined pledis late 2009.
SVT has 25 Korean singles and 9 Japanese singles and 26 Kpop albums that is 5 studio albums, 16 EPs, 2 compilation albums, and 3 reissues since 2015-2025
Seventeen is saying they want to challenge eternity even though they believe in nothing is forever
What kpop song takes you to a different place?
Songs like Midnight Fiction, Pluto, Delulu, Cosmic, Impossible all take me to a different place tbh. What songs are like that for you?
Fans and their saviour complex is driving me crazy!!!
(This is me ranting, don't take everything seriously)
This happens in all the groups i stan. The least popular member becomes more popular, not for the skills and talent they have, but because they got pitied.
The victimisation of Idols, to solo stans is a very short journey tbh. It makes the member look bad even when they did nothing bad.
eg, imagine A getting praise by the public for their vocal,s saying their are main vocalist worthy, and i see someone's comment say "but...but B is the main vocalist". They get replied by normal fans saying that this is A's moment because they went viral. NOW This always triggers the solo fans, she/he is the best vocalist in the group skill wise, why isn't she going viral, the other member doesn't deserve it she/he is so underrated, and talented she is mistreated by the company, Really? When the idol looks fine and and happy and confident and has significance in the group?
"but she must be so sad with all the hate she had 5 years ago" THAT HAPPENED YEARS AGO and we should learn from it and not do it again, they've healed and said they are much happier now, i highly doubt that person wants fame built on sympathy atp.
"Why is always A going viral, when B is a better dancer"
Well they have no SP? And going viral is also dependent on luck btw.
And if I see 100s of comments saying the same shit as B is so underrated on A's vid, that literally negates the subject of point.
I even had an argument with someone saying that popular members should not get more popular, and let the underrated aka mistreated member get a shot at going viral. Like bro?
They get to hate on other members, and the second someone criticizes their fave, your opinion does not matter, they are a victim and delicate, you are hating on them.
Why do they feel like overly defending an idol is gonna do anything. It's not going to make the idol feel better, esp to see their past hate be the reason they have their fame. It makes them look bad, makes the group look bad. AND their skills are not going to be taken srsly
This entire rant is me saying I HATE KPOP AKAGAES AND SAVIOR COMPLEX AND VICTIMISATION.
I don't want to take names since they might get hated and it's really not the idol's fault
Unskippable Albums? No. Skippable Albums.
Albums where you disliked majority of the songs. This is opinions based so please don’t kill me when I reveal mine.
Armageddon 1st Album (aespa) - has 3 good songs, two of them being title tracks
Deadline (Blackpink) - never heard a more “here damn” album
With YOU-th (TWICE) - you know the one with One Spark
Please tell me more, don’t worry we listen and we don’t judge.

Have you ever picked a soda just because an idol was promoting it?
Idols Cant Win For Losing
For those unaware, TXT is making their comeback on April 13th of 2026 with their 8th mini album "7th Year: A Moment Of Stillness In The Thorns". Before they were set to make their comeback, the TXT members were sent on a vacation to recooperate. Soobin, the leader, decided that he'd visit Cebu with a friend and vlogged his their experience there.
In one instance, Soobin and his friend decided to catch a taxi. He records an incident where the taxi driver tries to charge him for 500 pesos for a ride that is typically 300 pesos instead but once the driver realizes soobin is a foreigner and perhaps a korean youtuber of some kind he decides to raise the price to 1000 pesos. That is a 233.33% increase from the original price. Soobin has always been outspoken about matters surrounding poor or unfair treatmeant and he tells the editors not to cut it out of the video.
Now, for some context, there's a huge issue regarding taxis often overcharging people. It's gotten so bad that locals themselves tend to avoid taking taxis at all costs even to important events such as catching a flight or going to the doctor. Even after making many complaints and begging the government to intervene prior to this nothing was done. It wasn't until a video of Soobin getting scammed went viral finally spurred the government on to find the taxi driver and actually charge him for his crimes. It is said that the board is looking into a new policy to address reoccurrent complaints against taxi drivers that overcharge.
The people living there are happy about something finally being done and some people were even jokingly begging Soobin to come to their country. You'd thing that was the end of it but somehow you have people who ARENT living there finding an issue with Soobin somehow?
A lot of these complaints liein the fact that Soobin is an idol who's a millionaire and therefore even if he was scammed it shouldn't be an issue or insisting that he's selfish and/or terrible for not wanting to be scammed or calling attention to an incident regarding scamming. Despite the fact that this is something that happens to locals quite often and its finally getting attention because of fact that taxi driver himself assumed Soobin was a youtuber instead of an idol with a decent platform. It would be different entirely if people were upset that it took a tourist on a global stage being scammed for them to spring into action but that's not the case at all.
It just goes to show that idols truly can't win even when they lose. The insane expectations that idols are expected to adhere to is insane. People will find a way to hate on anything regardless of whether its good or bad or done by someone that has done good or bad. People have GOT to be kinder to idols because it's relentless harassment and hatred like this that idols end up with terrible mental health issues. I ask that you all refrain from blindly spewing hatred for idols online simply because of your disdain for them and remember that they are human at the end of the day like you and me!
What is that one kpop song that makes u feel nostalgic ??
🥴🫠

What's a K-pop opinion you have that would get you a lot of downvotes?

TXT's Refreshing 7Y: AMOSITT Album Preview
TXT finally unveiled the album preview for their new album "7th Year: A Moment of Stillness In The Thorns" thats out April 13th and I couldn't be more excited for it. It's already sounding so cohesive but also refreshing? Somehow they always manage to put their own spin on any music genre they touch and that's seriously so admirable.
TXT's versatility as artists has always been one of their main selling points for me. Now that they've finally renewed their contract the members will be alot more involved in their music than they were previously allowed to be as majority members have credits after stating that this is an album that truly speaks their experience.
The title track is "하루에 하루만 더" which translates to "just one more day per day" (creds to @translatingtxt on twt) while the english title is "Stick With You". Its so sentimental and deeply personal to them as it not only speaks of TXT's message of connection, love, self acceptance, and devotion as artists with their fans but also each other!
They've spoken extensively about their love for one another and their desire to remain as one under TXT and during their renewal they said it was an unanimous decision they made without even having to consult one another. They would continue on tomorrow together. Truly, this is the essence of TXT that makes me love them so deeply.
From the concept, the symbolism, the overarching message, and how varied their discography is... I have always felt that they were artists who carefully and painstakingly cultivated their craft and liked to expand on it as they continued to go against the grain and create the music that speaks to them. It's never been more apparent how true this is. I hope everyone will give this album an earnest listen 🩷

Seen the previous post got interests and thought I share some of last year 2025 info on events.
Added some extra random events. There are lot events that is missed because various reasons such as alternative platforms used for ticketing from melon etc. Noticeably most SM Entertainment artist in 2025 are missed for NOL platforms but there were plenty from HYBE Labels
This is based on NOL buyer demographics shown on each event page and these reflect platform booking stats not necessary the full attendee population.
Not a precise demographic breakdown and can have various limited scope for example such as bulk buying, platform technical limitations, shared or proxy purchases for family members etc
Each event listed, have different venue sizes and shows counts therefore audience size will be different for each event.
Inaccuracies may occur

New comeback, new PFP! ILLIT on the 30th april! ✨
let's support the girls! 🤍
Camera lights by Haechan is so good I'm speechless 👌🥰❣️😍😻❤️🔥🫶🩷💞
Omg Haechan is criminally underrated it's illegal not to be obsessed with his Taste album atp. Please, these songs have such essence and pure talent. I want to hear more of his music but SM is so stupid they're not using his amazing talent. He could've already been the Baekhyun of the industry but idk why SM isn't promoting his music. This is just sad and a loss for us as his fans too. And Haechan deserves more.

TXT just dropped an amazing album preview for their upcoming album "7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns"
TXT has done it again! I am so looking forward to this album. TXT's albums have never disappointed me, but I really feel like this is the one that everybody will be able to enjoy, both Fans and Non-Fans!
What are your thoughts about this album preview and which songs are ya'll claiming?
Jyp audition timeline
I have applied for jyp audition on February.I got my confirmation email that once evaluation is done i would either be rejected or accepted but I have yet to receive a response. Is it a lost cause or have I been ghosted??
What songs would you put on an autumn theme playlist.
For those in the southern hemisphere going into autumn/fall, and inspired by the spring playlist earlier, what songs would you put on an autumn themed playlist?

Idols most likely to leave their groups next?
Since we've had some huge (i mean HUGE) departures lately, I'm curious to see who everyone thinks is likely to leave their groups next?
I have a strong hunch that Yuta and Ten are also leaving NCT soon. Yuta particularly doesn't seem to be too interested in the k-idol lifestyle anymore with his focus shifting heavily towards his Japanese roots, but I could definitely be off target in my assumptions.
