Fans and their saviour complex is driving me crazy!!!
(This is me ranting, don't take everything seriously)
This happens in all the groups i stan. The least popular member becomes more popular, not for the skills and talent they have, but because they got pitied.
The victimisation of Idols, to solo stans is a very short journey tbh. It makes the member look bad even when they did nothing bad.
eg, imagine A getting praise by the public for their vocal,s saying their are main vocalist worthy, and i see someone's comment say "but...but B is the main vocalist". They get replied by normal fans saying that this is A's moment because they went viral. NOW This always triggers the solo fans, she/he is the best vocalist in the group skill wise, why isn't she going viral, the other member doesn't deserve it she/he is so underrated, and talented she is mistreated by the company, Really? When the idol looks fine and and happy and confident and has significance in the group?
"but she must be so sad with all the hate she had 5 years ago" THAT HAPPENED YEARS AGO and we should learn from it and not do it again, they've healed and said they are much happier now, i highly doubt that person wants fame built on sympathy atp.
"Why is always A going viral, when B is a better dancer"
Well they have no SP? And going viral is also dependent on luck btw.
And if I see 100s of comments saying the same shit as B is so underrated on A's vid, that literally negates the subject of point.
I even had an argument with someone saying that popular members should not get more popular, and let the underrated aka mistreated member get a shot at going viral. Like bro?
They get to hate on other members, and the second someone criticizes their fave, your opinion does not matter, they are a victim and delicate, you are hating on them.
Why do they feel like overly defending an idol is gonna do anything. It's not going to make the idol feel better, esp to see their past hate be the reason they have their fame. It makes them look bad, makes the group look bad. AND their skills are not going to be taken srsly
This entire rant is me saying I HATE KPOP AKAGAES AND SAVIOR COMPLEX AND VICTIMISATION.
I don't want to take names since they might get hated and it's really not the idol's fault
