What kpop song takes you to a different place?
Songs like Midnight Fiction, Pluto, Delulu, Cosmic, Impossible all take me to a different place tbh. What songs are like that for you?

TXT finally unveiled the album preview for their new album "7th Year: A Moment of Stillness In The Thorns" thats out April 13th and I couldn't be more excited for it. It's already sounding so cohesive but also refreshing? Somehow they always manage to put their own spin on any music genre they touch and that's seriously so admirable.
TXT's versatility as artists has always been one of their main selling points for me. Now that they've finally renewed their contract the members will be alot more involved in their music than they were previously allowed to be as majority members have credits after stating that this is an album that truly speaks their experience.
The title track is "하루에 하루만 더" which translates to "just one more day per day" (creds to @translatingtxt on twt) while the english title is "Stick With You". Its so sentimental and deeply personal to them as it not only speaks of TXT's message of connection, love, self acceptance, and devotion as artists with their fans but also each other!
They've spoken extensively about their love for one another and their desire to remain as one under TXT and during their renewal they said it was an unanimous decision they made without even having to consult one another. They would continue on tomorrow together. Truly, this is the essence of TXT that makes me love them so deeply.
From the concept, the symbolism, the overarching message, and how varied their discography is... I have always felt that they were artists who carefully and painstakingly cultivated their craft and liked to expand on it as they continued to go against the grain and create the music that speaks to them. It's never been more apparent how true this is. I hope everyone will give this album an earnest listen 🩷
For those unaware, TXT is making their comeback on April 13th of 2026 with their 8th mini album "7th Year: A Moment Of Stillness In The Thorns". Before they were set to make their comeback, the TXT members were sent on a vacation to recooperate. Soobin, the leader, decided that he'd visit Cebu with a friend and vlogged his their experience there.
In one instance, Soobin and his friend decided to catch a taxi. He records an incident where the taxi driver tries to charge him for 500 pesos for a ride that is typically 300 pesos instead but once the driver realizes soobin is a foreigner and perhaps a korean youtuber of some kind he decides to raise the price to 1000 pesos. That is a 233.33% increase from the original price. Soobin has always been outspoken about matters surrounding poor or unfair treatmeant and he tells the editors not to cut it out of the video.
Now, for some context, there's a huge issue regarding taxis often overcharging people. It's gotten so bad that locals themselves tend to avoid taking taxis at all costs even to important events such as catching a flight or going to the doctor. Even after making many complaints and begging the government to intervene prior to this nothing was done. It wasn't until a video of Soobin getting scammed went viral finally spurred the government on to find the taxi driver and actually charge him for his crimes. It is said that the board is looking into a new policy to address reoccurrent complaints against taxi drivers that overcharge.
The people living there are happy about something finally being done and some people were even jokingly begging Soobin to come to their country. You'd thing that was the end of it but somehow you have people who ARENT living there finding an issue with Soobin somehow?
A lot of these complaints liein the fact that Soobin is an idol who's a millionaire and therefore even if he was scammed it shouldn't be an issue or insisting that he's selfish and/or terrible for not wanting to be scammed or calling attention to an incident regarding scamming. Despite the fact that this is something that happens to locals quite often and its finally getting attention because of fact that taxi driver himself assumed Soobin was a youtuber instead of an idol with a decent platform. It would be different entirely if people were upset that it took a tourist on a global stage being scammed for them to spring into action but that's not the case at all.
It just goes to show that idols truly can't win even when they lose. The insane expectations that idols are expected to adhere to is insane. People will find a way to hate on anything regardless of whether its good or bad or done by someone that has done good or bad. People have GOT to be kinder to idols because it's relentless harassment and hatred like this that idols end up with terrible mental health issues. I ask that you all refrain from blindly spewing hatred for idols online simply because of your disdain for them and remember that they are human at the end of the day like you and me!
