I beat infamous 1 and 2 for the first time.

I recently started playing the infamous series and I just finished my infamous 2 good karma run and I did a good and bad karma run for the first game.

I really enjoyed the games as I thought the gameplay was fun and the story was good but I did find some enemies in Infamous 2 to be very annoying like the devourer and titan.

I think I’ll platinum infamous 2 when I do a bad karma run and after I beat it I’ll then move on to Festival of Blood and then Second Son.

Why has no inFAMOUS standalone expansion ever included a Karma system?

In the main games, your morality determines your powers, your look, and the ending. But in the expansions, you just play the story as written. It feels weirdly inconsistent that the main games force you to choose, but the smaller titles don't care about your "Karma" at all

Did the developers realize the Karma system was too restrictive?

Or was it just a budget/time-saving measure for the DLCs?

I actually found it refreshing to play as Fetch without worrying about accidentally killing civilians and losing a "Hero" rank. I wonder why they haven't tried a full-scale game without the Karma system yet. What do you guys think?

Not once have I had this happen

I've never managed to place the well cap on top of a well in Burning Wells, while also accidentally failing to extinguish it. Well, my brother did it first try... bless him :,))

I wish Infamous 2 punished you for being a hero like Infamous 1 did.

The fact that being a hero usually came with draw backs was my favorite part of Infamous 1. Not only was it super fun to play with a handicap, forcing the player to play carefully, but it also tide into the story perfectly. As stupid as it sounds, it really hammers in "With great power comes great responsibility" More than any Spider-man game ever has because you the play have to choose to be responsible in order to be a hero. This whole thing was noticeably gone from the sequel. The closest thing to a draw back for being a hero is having to spend time with Kuo and NOBODY wants to spend time with her.

Cole Easter egg?

Picked up infamous second sons for $10(cad) locally and doing my first play through. Noticed this walking through the hospital section at the start of the game.

Maybe it’s been posted before but I thought it was a neat Easter egg.

Is there more throughout the game?

The CEO of Sucker Punch (I think it was him) said in a nutshell that he’d love to work on another infous entry.

Now that they are wrapped up with Yotei, do you think they’ll focus on new games or go back to old ones like infamous and sly cooper?

Any else one wonders why there’s a lack of “backstories” in ISS?

Whenever I replay the game and I come across Betty ( the old akomish lady) there’s questions that always comes up to my head like:

“why did they do absolutely nothing with her character except use her as a motive?.”

And

“did they have a sequel in mind when making this game?”

look it’s my favorite game of all time but I can’t help but notice how i literally don’t know shit about her, then it gets me thinking that this also kinda applies to Reggie and Delsin, I’m not crazy right??, like Reggie is a cop, Delsin is a conduit, they are brothers, but there’s some “depth” missing so it would make sense for the devs to have a sequel in mind that delves into these characters backstories. And I know a year has been cut of out of the game’s development but I think that applies to the last parts of the game rather the entire game, so maybe Eugene’s part and the stuff after it and not everything from start of the game. Idk what y’all think?

Finally got a long awaited tattoo at a convention this weekend. Partially inspired by inFamous, so wanted to share here.

Exclusive poster for the first inFAMOUS made by a Brooklyn-based collective called “Destroy and Rebuild”.

It was only available by buying the game and a PSN card at 7/11.
