I bought a lot of IEMs so you don't have to

I wasn't impressed with the quality of budget IEM reviews online. So I decided to take matters into my own hands. Will order next lot of the products 1.5K - 3K Priced ones if I can genuinely help people. More than 40 IEMs will be tested to answer one question - what you should buy under INR1.5K...

I am from Audio With Argha

Buying earphones in India in the range of upto 10k is a scam!

I purchased Sony WF-C500 in around mid 2023, worked fine till Feb 2024, and then it stopped working. The MRP was around 9k, got it at 50% discount.

Also purchased Nothing Ear (a) for my sister, MRP was 10k, I got it for around 5k, again stopped working after a little more than a year.

Both of these brands have useless grievance redressal, the most surprising being Sony, where they literally said that we cannot do anything since the product is out of warranty. Nothing guys said that the customer shall have to pay 70% of the purchase cost for a replacement!

I understand that it would be the industry policy, but it's ridiculous that they wouldn't even check the damn product for repairs and help us. The out of warranty reason would be acceptable if the product was worth upto 2k. But for products falling in the upper range, more support should be provided by the brands.

For the record, I have purchased various bluetooth earphones ranging up to ₹3k, and surprisingly, they have worked very well.

Has anyone faced anything similar and would like to give any solutions?

Wired vs Wireless headphones under ₹1000 - which one is actually worth it?

I’m confused between going for wired headphones or wireless ones in a tight budget (₹1000).

Wired seems more reliable, but wireless looks more convenient.

For those who’ve used both:

  • Which one lasts longer?
  • Any latency issues in gaming?
  • What would you personally choose?

Sony ULT Wear vs Sennheiser Accentum Plus vs Sennheiser Accentum

I have gone through this sub to figure out some options for something around 15k. These 3 look to be the most recommended ones.

Sony has a hinge issue reported by multiple people and the storage in the case looks complicated enough to break it.

Sennheiser users have reported cushion peeling issues and overall sound quality difference vs Sony.

which one to buy? any other recommendations than these 3?

Please give me headphone recommendations

I am looking for a pair of comfortable over-ear headphones (Bluetooth) that are under 10k. Long battery life with ANC hopefully. I am a novice headphone enthusiast so I don’t know much about EQ, treble, etc. But most of the boat, jbl headphones I have tried sound muffled and far away without enough clarity. So something that has an overall clear sound, the kind that sort of sorrounds you. Maybe that’s a lot to ask but please give me recommendations people!!!!!!

Need headphone recommendations

need help deciding what headphones to get as my old ones the Logitech g435 stopped working, for home use only (wired). I'm very overwhelmed with the various amount of options. Im going to use it mainly for watching videos and light gaming, looking for a comfortable pair that I can use for a long time.

Kz zs12 pro x vs kefine klean sv

I recently bought the KZ ZS12 Pro X, but it doesn’t have much bass and sounds quite flat to me. I was also considering the Kefine Klean SV. Is the Klean SV a better IEM, especially for punchy bass? Also, do most IEMs under ₹5000 generally sound flat and neutral?

CMF Headphone Pro Reviews (Users, please read this)

im trying to buy new headphones, it has to be under 5k.

BUT the only answers I'm getting is to buy the JBL Tune 770NC, it is real good for its quality except in terms of comfort.

that's when i read about CMF Headphone Pro, it's about 3k high of my budget, but is it better than the jbl 770NC.

As JBL, focusing only in audio gear has an upper hand in comparison with the CMF one in terms of audio tuning and quality, CMF does have LDAC support, but that backfires if the tuning is bad right?

Please ANSWER this, Ive been trying all day to find one, PLEASE YALL😭🙏

Water damaged my OnePlus nord buds 3r.

got it on launch day, bought it last sep on my bday.

around december, it got washed with my pants in washing machine. did the rice thing and sunlight drying too. no help, one earbud is fine and other one touch thing gone mad, case wasnt charging. sent it to service center bengaluru, no help as it was very new model, parts werent there, local walk-in refused to help stating water damaged cannot be helped and not in warranty.

can i do anything to save it? should i go to local repair place? or send it to service centre once more
