I’ve heard a lot of raving reviews of Delina even with my friends and I’m so curious what it smells like but I never seem to find it anywhere even at airports Duty Free. But I didn’t really research about it because I prefer to smell and try it out in person.

Story time:
So during a work trip to Malaysia, on my way to arrivals immigration at KLIA, I saw a stall with this. Grabe I got super excited and they had all the scents and I just tried all of them. And out of all of the variants, I fell in love with the Delina Exclusif and without even asking for the price, ang tapang ko to say, “I’ll take this one please”.
I haven’t checked the price conversion between MYR and PHP at this point. And I was just thinking, I’m pretty sure this will just be around the same price as YSL or Gucci. So I was just so happy and merrily went to the immigration to exit.
Kalagpas ko ng immigration, it suddenly dawned on me. Sabi ko sa sarili ko, wait tama ba yung nakita kong price dun sa terminal nung snwipe ko card ko? Chneck ko yung receipt agad then the conversion and oh my freaking god, gusto kong tumakbo pabalik and ireturn yung box. Wdym this cost 3x or 4x of my other bottles.
Grabeng buyer’s remorse nalang.

So I guess one spray at a time lang to. 😭

SUN by Alexander Fragrances is a local dupe of Diptyque’s Ilio. My girlfriend and I discovered the brand at The Podium last year.

Our first impression was that the bottle presentation felt quite bare and minimal. “Baka bagong brand lang?” was my initial thought. Still, the clean and understated look worked in their favor, avoiding the overdesigned, tacky feel that some local brands fall into. That alone sets it apart, especially from those that don’t fully consider how their design choices connect with their target market.

This dupe is a gem. Diptyque is one of the few houses that’s genuinely difficult to replicate because of its distinct “skin-scent” approach. I’ve tried other Diptyque-inspired fragrances locally, but this one really stood out. I’d put it at around 95–97% similar to the original.

It’s a simple, fresh fragrance that opens with white florals and an airy iris note, then dries down into a slightly powdery finish. It leans unisex, though slightly on the feminine side, and works well as a summer scent. Longevity is solid at around 6–7 hours, with moderate projection in the first four hours before settling closer to the skin.

Is it blind buy safe? I generally don’t recommend blind buying, especially since the brand is available in retail stores like Frankie’s General Store where you can try it first. That said, this one is relatively safe given how mass-appealing and easygoing the scent profile is.

My only gripe is the atomizer. It’s quite stiff and feels clunky to use. Their newer releases have improved on this with a pressurized atomizer, though Sun is still sold in their older bottles since it’s one of their earlier scents.

Rating: 9.5/10

So i had the holiday bottle first and snagged someone selling an anniversary bottle earlier. Diptyques are kinda expensive though and want to justify spending a lot lang for both haha

Orpheon is my favorite scent though, and nakukulungan ako sa 75ml. I also have a 30ml, but maybe i let that go since its a normal looking design

Used for 1 month, 8 sprays minimum, halos daily scent ko siya this summer. Worth it!

Super happy to have this fragrance since talaga ilang beses ko to binabalik-balikan sa diptyque greenbelt and powerplant, and finally got the chance to get it 15% sa hkia since i flew cx (only at beauty&you nag a-apply yung discount). after months ng pagipon hehe. hope to add more sa collection! 🙏😄

My signature scent, and first and only Rayhaan that I need in my life. It’s a sweet, warm, but fresh scent that has this tobacco touch in the dry down that’s very addictive and makes the scent sophisticated and mature. Wala akong OG neto, pero from what I know, this is supremely similar, just a bit lighter pero that’s not a bad thing kasi the honey is brighter, kaya pwedeng pwede sa warm environments.

> Longevity: 7-8hrs on skin, 10+ on clothes
> Projection: 2-3hrs of moderate projection, then intimate na siya for the whole duration, pero tumatagal siya on clothes. Got complimented by my gf after wearing it for 7+ hours
> Uses: definitely one of those scents na pwede all year round, pero if i were to be extremely precise, i think it’s best in warm summer nights. Pwede sa AC environment, pwede din sa initan (just don’t go too much on the sprays, it can get heavy)

I’ve been looking around for “fresh linen” scents and I stumbled upon Room 1015’s Love-o-matic. I tried a decant first and sabi ko OMG perfect para sa summer so I finally bought this beauty yesterday so I’ll also be sharing my short review (which is I’m not magaling to do so bear with me HAHAHA)

First spray impression is like alam niyo yung bagong kuha na laundry yung basa pa pero with fabcon? Ganon, amoy malinis.

Dry down naman is musky and leaning towards fruity, it’s not too sweet. They said it has bubblegum but I didn’t get that scent note yet.

Overall I think perfect for the summer and also for everyday use. When I tried this before I was outside labas pasok sa init and lamig and I still smelled a hint of it.

I’ve always wanted to add Alien Goddess by Mugler to my collection but I never really got around to it. And finally, here it is! Lately, I’ve been loving a lot of “vacation in a bottle” scents, so this one is a perfect addition to my tropical collection.

Ang appealing kasi ng presentation ng Mugler fragrances sa akin. I am thinking of getting the Angel Nova and Alien Hypersense next 😍

I recently purchased set of 5 Diptyque EDT and got 2ml EDT free samples. I tried them all, one perfume a day. Ang pinaka nagustuhan ko yung Fluer de Peau. Yung iba hindi ko gusto. I want to buy a bigger bottle of FDP pero i am not sure kung EDT or EDP. I know EDP is long-lasting pero same ba ng amoy? I'm new to this fragrance world so i would appreciate any advice. Thank you!

I was at the mall to look for some new frags.

I checked out Guerlain first and I was able to get a limited frag from Guerlain. Really bright and fresh! Only had one left as well so I had to get it.

Went to louis vuitton to see how much a refill was and ended up getting Afternoon Swim. What a great opening. Looking forward to see how long this will last on me.

Lastly, checked around the department store and saw that YSL had their private line out. Ended up getting Saharienne. A neroli, fresh spicy, and citrusy scent.

Used it immediately once I got home from the hotel.

Fresh spicy, woody at hindi masakit sa ilong.

Wifey loved it!

Hindi ko lang sure kung magkalapit sila ng amoy ng Coach black.

But I love this.

Has anyone here tried Samyo Tales? Been seeing them on Shopee lately and got curious, especially since they lean into Filipino folklore for their scents (which is honestly a cool concept).

Only thing holding me back is they only sell 50ml bottles, kinda a big commitment for a blind buy. No decants or smaller sizes (at least from what I’ve seen), so it feels a bit risky.

For those who’ve tried them:

- How’s the performance (longevity/projection)?

- Do they smell “niche-quality” or more like typical local inspired frags?

- Any specific variant worth checking out (or avoiding)?
