Filofax vs Moterm

I was about to purchase a Filofax when I saw a video about Moterm ring binders. I like how it has more pockets and a larger ring size, that’s why I’m leaning towards buying Moterm instead of a Filofax.

Is there anyone here who has both? Which do you prefer better?

Always a classic

Moved back into my purple original today. I love this color and how it motivates me to write.

Where my A5 people at?

Where are my A5 people at? I’m constantly seeing personal size… but I write huge and need more writing space lol

This is my lovely Holborn.

It’s basically my “everything” book… planner, journal, commonplace, lists…

I carry it all around with me too. In my huge bag. Mostly on work days.

Looking for Filofax Graduate in Personal size

Basically what it says in the title. I’ve scoured eBay and image searched for one but I haven’t been able to come across a graduate model in the personal size.

I’m okay with any color!

I was wondering if anyone had any tips for finding it or other places I should look?

Thank you in advance!

ISO Inserts for mini

I’m having trouble finding inserts for mini sized Filofax and was hoping for some help.
What I’m looking for specifically is:
-month on 2 pages(or month on one page but landscape)
-must be a digital download
-must be printable on a4 paper (and then cut out)
-for 2026 or undated
I’d prefer inserts without unnecessary lines and spaces.

OR!! If anyone can make me one that meets the above criteria(preferably very quickly (Ik I’m sorry)) I’ll pay! or if anyone can give some advice on making my own? I’m struggling using word to make them….

Thanks in advance

Does the kaweco liliput fit the filofax mini pen loop?

I’m not really impressed how the filofax paper is handling my fountain pen inks but i’d still like to get a pen that fits into the loop instead of clipping it on like i’m doing it right now.

Does it really fit? I don’t have the chance to test it in person.

It’s not that bright in real life but i got an instant dopamine hit when i took this photo with the filter 🥰

Hi everyone! I've been thinking about ordering a Filofax because I love journaling and scrapbooking, but I was curious if the binder rings make it difficult to write on the left-hand side of the page around the ring area. I've had a planner with spirals in the middle and I really hated how my writing would always get messed up as I got closer to the spirals (I'm right handed). Do you guys just take out the left page and write on it freely? I feel like that would be too much and the rings would lose their sturdiness over time with the frequent opening and closing just to write. Thanks!

Where to sell?

Hi, I'm UK based and have a few A5s that I really should sell. Where is the best place to list them? I've heard many Vinted horror stories, so the less scammy the better! TIA

Filofax Cross Mini - yarn journal

I paid a lot of money for my secondhand Filofax Cross Mini in a very good condition, literally never used, and the coating started chipping and peeling right away. My hands are covered in flakes whenever I’m using this one so I made the decision to use it as a companion to my knitting journal, so let me introduce to you: my yarn journal.

It just holds the banderole + info how much yarn I’ve got and yes, it looks a bit messy but I’m okay with that :)

I’m just happy that I found a purpose for this one and won’t be frustrated anymore.

Filofax for note-taking in uni

Hi! University student here. I’ve been seeing a lot of Filofax setups and it’s making me want to have one. But I want to use mine to take lecture notes in uni instead of a journal/planner. I already have a separate leather journal ecosystem for that

Does anyone here use their Filofax in a different way or for study notes? How is it like compared to a regular notebook?

Help me with my filofax?

Hi all!

I’m new to filofax and decided to buy one for a number of reasons that are neither here nor there.

Anyway, I bought mine on eBay for $85. I knew the rings were messed up when I bought it and figured maybe I could troubleshoot. They don’t close all the way. The bottom 2 do. If you have any ideas, let me know! Extra pics cause I just think it’s pretty. 🥰

Hello! I am a frequent lurker across Ebay, as I keep an eye out for certain vintage Filofax models I’m after. I have noticed that UK sellers seem to price things more moderately than US sellers, which I assume is due to the fact that the products are generally more available in their region and less precious.

This month, am traveling to the UK for an extended work trip (about 3 weeks) and I was wondering about the possibility of buying a vintage Filofax or two while I am there.

If you are in the UK, what is your experience looking for Filofax at charity shops, car boot sales, estate sales etc?

I’ll be in London (with a posible weekend in Hastings) and Glasgow. Are these cities just too expensive as places for thrifting to be much of a bargain anymore?
