I’m not really impressed how the filofax paper is handling my fountain pen inks but i’d still like to get a pen that fits into the loop instead of clipping it on like i’m doing it right now.
Does it really fit? I don’t have the chance to test it in person.

I paid a lot of money for my secondhand Filofax Cross Mini in a very good condition, literally never used, and the coating started chipping and peeling right away. My hands are covered in flakes whenever I’m using this one so I made the decision to use it as a companion to my knitting journal, so let me introduce to you: my yarn journal.
It just holds the banderole + info how much yarn I’ve got and yes, it looks a bit messy but I’m okay with that :)
I’m just happy that I found a purpose for this one and won’t be frustrated anymore.

ich hatte neulich eine Situation mit meinen Kindern (4,5 J) und bin unsicher, wie ich das einordnen soll.
Wir haben einiges an hochwertigem Holzspielzeug, zum Beispiel Ostheimer. Wir hatten eine Freundin aus der Kita zu Besuch und im Spiel haben meine Kinder entschieden, dass sie ihr zwei Einhörner schenken wollen. Diese finden sie grad einfach doof.
Sie ist dann total stolz damit zu ihrer Mutter gegangen und die hat einfach nur „ach wie schön“ gesagt und die Figuren eingepackt, ohne das irgendwie mit mir abzuklären.
Ich war in dem Moment auch ehrlich gesagt total überrumpelt und habe nichts gesagt.
Im Nachhinein habe ich mit meinen Kindern gesprochen, dass wir solche Sachen nicht einfach verschenken, sondern vorher absprechen und dass sowas zum Beispiel ein schönes Geburtstagsgeschenk gewesen wäre, aber halt auch nur eins. 😅
Was mich aber irgendwie beschäftigt ist, dass ich erwartet hätte, dass die andere Mutter das kurz mit mir klärt, gerade weil es ja kein Kleinkram ist.
Bin ich da zu empfindlich?
