Thank you to everyone who suggested ideas and assisted me in talking through different ideas
Name: Thank You
Localized name: appreciated
Namesake: "Thank You" Song by Dido
Stand User: Stanley Doyle
Design: Thank You appears as an anthropomorphic figure slightly shorter than the user, with a prominent fox head with mismatched eyes and a limp lifeless body
Abilities: Thank You is almost indestructible, requiring great brute force to be taken out of combat. It is also an inanimate Stand that cannot move or interact with the environment, remaining still like a doll that can be placed on any surface or even held by its user. Whenever Thank You is struck by an enemy, it redirects the force of the attack, causing near-instant paralysis in the limb that targeted the Stand. If struck by a projectile, the attack ricochets and is redirected with all its original force back at the attacker, hitting the exact same spot where it initially landed. All paralysis and projectile redirection effects cease if the enemy stops targeting Stanley or his Stand, as its ability exists solely to protect him.
User Description: Stanley Doyle is a 16 year old boy, often regarded as weird and an outcast due to his peculiar sense of humor and childish mannerisms. He struggles to trust other people’s intentions, and his only real comfort seems to be his own Stand, which he holds like a security blanket whenever he summons it.

Sorry if this is torture to read, I'm on my phone. Since I was a little boy, I've loved superheroes and anime and whatnot. That kind of stuff is my jam, and NOTHING has yet compared to when I started Stardust Crusaders and saw a stand for the first time. I've been making fan stands since 2019, and I love seeing fan stands anywhere I can find them, which is why this sub is my most used by far.
I have a bit of a community suggestion, though. I'm really interested in everyone's creations, but I don't see as many unique ideas as I think is possible. Of course I'm not knocking anyone, but the vast majority of fan stands I see are limited by being built entirely for combat scenarios, and these types of stands are usually extremely high in raw power and can sometimes have vague power descriptions. I just want to help and encourage new approaches to creativity, so please hear me out.
I've been in the game a while. I've seen lots of fan stands and they mostly have advantages stacked atop more and more advantages. "User can fire a powerful beam/blast/fireball," "The stand is blindingly fast/nigh indestructible/as powerful as Star Platinum/King Crimson/etc," "" Stand abilities are often so vague that the user is omnipotent, and the only "limitation" you'll usually see is that the user can get tired. These kinds of abilites are usually arbitrary and only serve to allow their hypothetical user to dominate in combat. You can especially see that mindset in the use of words like "enemy projectile" or "incoming attack," but I think many people would be helped with a more versatile approach.
Stands reflect the user, right? I think we should put a lot more stock into what kind of personality an ability would match. When creating any aspect of the stand, from its form to its abilities and personality, try to think: What type of person would this stand fit? Be specific and purposeful in every single trait. Try thinking of a theme. For example Stone Free's theme is string. Tusk's theme is nail bullets & Spin. A great stress test for stand abilities is that they can be CLEARLY summarized in one or two sentences. "This is a versatile Close-range stand that can bring the user's drawings to life." Don't underestimate the power of a concise summary; it seems simple, but gives any writing a very strong sense of cohesion and purpose. Stands can be anything, functioning not only as swords and spears, but as binoculars, shovels, or lamps, so I hope I've encouraged some people to flesh out their stands in a new way. Let's get more comfortable sometimes saying "This stand just isn't really fit for fighting," yes? Thank u for reading
The reference for the name is the Album "Lulu" by Metallica and Lou Reed and the song "Blue" by Joni Mitchell's. And the user's name (my self insert name) comes from "Dizzy Gillespie" and the band "The Doors". It has 2 abilities, the first is Oxygen Manipulation/Oxygen regulation and the second is extra sensory perception, basically allowing the user to sense unnoticeable patterns, like smells, marks or things that have dimmed or disappeared, or even things like past and future actions. I hope y'all like it. :)
[Touchtone Telephone] grants its user, Hans Steele, the ability to enhance abilities and warp respective through lying by startign each lie with "I heard that" and it will work as long as the person lied to doesn't disprove it. For example, if Hans told someone they were much stronger than they really are, then they would experience a physical strength boost as long as they believed they did, but once someone questioned their strength, the abilty would weaken or outright deactivate.
Found this one in my old art journal from high school. Always remembered getting stuck on what the exact ability should be but i’m going to re imagine it once i have a good concept. I was thinking the ability should revolve around shadows due to the design i gave it when i was 17.
Rough draft Concept:
Stand Range: 10 meters
Ability: Night Prowler has the ability to overwhelm & distort the perception of the enemy’s Brain motor function stimuli of shadows, including their own shadow. Gradually increasing the hallucination strength by 10% every 1 meter closer to the user. Our subconscious has a small physical motor reliance with our human shadow paired with physical actions. If you move your left hand but your shadow is unresponsive, your brain has a sensory conflict, This same concept but having a direct control over the enemy’s perception of the distance of objects, one’s spatial recognition & sense of extra personal space. Once Night prowler has full 100% control over your motor function & perception, the enemies mind will enter a state of void resulting their soul being permanently lost in the unknown & the annihilation of their physical existence, similar to killer queens complete disintegration of a person body. Again this is just a rough draft idea but a good start.
Feel free to apply your own ideas, concepts & feedback of where else i can go with it
Namesake: Haegeum by Agust D
User: Ambrose G. Dala, a small-time crook
Stand type: Natural Non-Humanoid, Close-ranged, semi sentient
Stats:
Power: B
Speed: A for ability, C for stand
Range: A for ability, D for stand
Persistance: A
Accuracy: C
Potential: A
Ability:
Restriction removal: 「Haegeum」's main power is to remove the concept of restriction(both physical and non-physical). This has a wide range of applications, from breaking locks and unlocking safes to hacking and bending the laws of physics. However, the stand's most powerful application is reality rewrite, as it is fictional and hence "restricted" by the 4th wall. It can break the spacetime continuum and travel through time as well as instantly teleport...
Weakness: However, the user must be fully convinced that the restriction cannot be bypassed in any way. As such, as long as one can play an insane troll logic chain onto the user, the stand will cease to do this power. For example, if 「Haegeum」is transported to the Back To The Future timeline, it cannot time travel as the means to do so has explicitly been proven, and hence it is not "restricted" against travelling time, but merely does not have the means. Hence, the stand is inversely powerful to the story, where the more powerful a verse is, the weaker it becomes.
User lore: Ambrose is a small-time crook, forced into a lifetime of petty crime due to homelessness and lack of opportunities. Initially an illiterate, oblivious burglar who broke into the group's house, he got cut by a ship fragment attached to 9.75's bracelet, thinking it was silver. After being chased out by N, he begins to learn how to take control of his powers. His initial narrow-mindedness and lack of knowledge about the world caused him to only use his stand for small crime like pickpocketing and lock-picking. However, over the course of the story, he begins to discover the full potential of removing restriction. Slowly, the walls of reality begins to waver, and he discovers the "4th wall" of reality. His whole world, his experiences, his life, was merely a bunch of social media posts, poorly drawn doodles and short stories. Every bad event in his life, all his suffering and pain, willed into existence by a being seemingly infinitely more powerful than him for its entertainment. Driven mad by the revelation, he becomes the main antagonist when he tears apart the fabric of reality and attempts to become a living god and rewrite his life. Despite his best efforts, he was unable to break the 4th wall (there were other 4th wall breakers so it wasn't a restriction). Most of the main character group was easily defeated except 9.75, who upon realising the potential of his elongation power, manages to defeat Ambrose by elongating reality, forcing Ambrose into a draw. Ambrose and 9.75 debate about their existence as fictional characters and their free will (if they had it at all). Eventually, Ambrose finds meaning to his life, reforms the multiverses he broke and sends his stand into dormancy (breaking the restriction that once a stand is awakened it can never be removed).
Or, at least that's what seemed to happen...
Ambrose, seemingly without his stand, was arrested by the One World Agency not long after the confrontation and kept in a maximum security prison for dangerous superhumans and monsters. Observations noticed he was still able to see stands despite seemingly losing his own, suggesting his stand's dormancy was not as effective as it seems. During the attack on Earth by the First Stand User, the One World Agency used the powers of another hero(non-stand user) Groundhog to reawaken his stand at max potential, when he was capable of being a living god again. However, the army of the First Stand User attacked before the process was complete. The sudden reawakening of his stand combined with many powerful beings around changed his stand, awakening a new form:
Abilities:
Restriction removal: 「Haegeum: Life Goes On」retains its previous form's powers, but cannot time trave, teleport. It retains some extent of reality manipulation(as shown in the next ability), but is severely nerfed.
Future merge: 「Haegeum: Life Goes On」can take an item from a possible near(maximum 30min) future and bring it to the present. This will force the probability of that future occurring to increase. Applications of this ability include bringing the corpse of an opponent to increase the chances of an opponent dying in the encounter, or bringing a ringing safety alarm to increase the chances of a security event occurring. This cannot be used on still living beings.
Weaknesses: 「Haegeum: Life Goes On」is now solar powered due to a solar panel collapsing onto 「Haegeum」during the reawakening. Without sunlight, Ambrose needs to constantly feed power sources like fuel or strong winds to keep his stand going. He attempts to mitigate this by duct taping a handheld fan onto 「Haegeum: Life Goes On」's neck, but it doesn't provide sufficient power for conceptual removal, only physical restriction removal.
User appearance: Oversized puffy jacket with multiple locks on the sleeves and chest area, as well as one on the zipper. Dirty, torn denim jeans. Floral bandana with the edges burnt. User is male of Mediterranean descent, in his mid-30s. Average height, tanned, scruffy beard.
Attempt at making a villain monologue:
"I'm just tired of all these 🔒restrictions🔒. They say it's a free world, but we are all still 🪢bound🪢 by 📜laws📜, both physical and invisible. Time. Money. Space. Security. All of these are basic concepts keeping society running. Freedom, however, is non-existent. For freedom is contradictory. Oh, to be flying and yet stay on the ground. If that's what one wants, one will never. For the concept of *flight* is *restricted* by the concept of *earth*. I wish to be free of all of this. And may you be at the tip of my mercy"
I've mostly just been naming my stands after memes. Some of them are really old too. I'm gonna be real, I became part of the reddit hivemind when I was 13 and never fully recovered.
As for my actual music taste, I've mostly just listened to video game music. I also listen to nerdcore sometimes but I don't think "FNAF The Musical" would be a good stand name. Recently, I actually tried broadening my taste a little bit but all I did was get into vocaloid and I'm just obsesseed with Kasane Teto now I don't know what happened.
Guys am I a cornball? Can I actually use these? Can I get some music recommendations? A lot of music sounds kinda generic to me maybe I'm just the grandma from Coco unless I listen to a song on my own accord.

With spin: with the spin it creates two new abilities. Part of the watch spins where the gold ring connected this spinning ability. Allows it to have it spins to the left. It can cause anything. It touches to age rapidly until it turns dust. However, if you do to the right, it creates the opposite, which can be used for healing purpose to heal injuries or ailments.
I've asked people about their "Heaven Plan" a few days ago and it seems like not many people have thought about this. So I've decided to share my vision for a "Heaven Plan".
Two things will happen when one reaches this "Heaven":
First, a glowing, circular field appears around the user's feet, which slowly begins to grow at an increasing rate. All land that is covered by the golden glow is transformed into Blessed Lands.
Non-Stand users who are caught in the Blessed Lands will experience one of two scenarios:
The process can only be stopped if the user is killed. If not, then the entire world will become one large Blessed Land.
Second, the User is granted the ability: No Surprises (a reference to the song by Radiohead)
No Surprises is encapsulated by the phrase: "put yourself in my shoes".
Essentially, the Stand allows the user to swap all immediate, threatening Fates with its source.
Imagine an assailant is fated to stab someone in the heart with a knife. No action taken by the victim can defend against the fatal wound. The moment the assailant goes for the stab, they will suddenly find themselves standing right where the victim was with their own knife in their own chest. Since such actions were fated to happen, the assailant themselves cannot change the Fate that would've killed the victim. The victim would be teleported to the attacker's position and will survive, as they have swapped with the enemy's Fate to live.
This applies to any form of attack or phenomena that threatens anyone’s wellbeing.
No Surprises can automatically detect any fated threats within the Blessed Land, which would then automatically trigger the ability.
However, the user is given a special privilege. Should they choose to do so, they can attack anyone without suffering the consequences of their actions.
This ability essentially removes free will to an extent, as any intent to harm someone will be a futile endeavor. Should someone try to kill, insult, steal, etc., they shall face the consequences/effects. People can still “choose” to harm someone, but they’ll just be harming themselves in the end.
To reach this "Heaven", one needs to complete this list of tasks:
The very person to enact this plan is someone who is disappointed with the current state of the world, and the current state of humanity. Despite the merits of humanity, the user is convinced that humanity has been consumed their dark side for too long (war, genocide, torture, exploitation, oppression, discrimination, pollution, ignorance, etc.).
This "Heaven Plan" will work to fulfill two objectives:
All of this is to ensure that no one will never be disappointed again. The world becomes a paradise of absolute peace.
The pose is based off of how giorno poses with ge/ger
(I'll share it as a concept, because I still can't draw)
Namesake: 'Johnny B Goode' by Chuck Berry
Johnny B Goode(JBG) is a close range Automatic stand that can be manually tiggled by the User, Gooddy, but once activated, its movements can no longer be controlled by the user leading into its automatic ability. Whenever someone sleeps near JBG's range, the ability activates - JBG kicks the sleeping person regardless if they are friends or foe or just random bystanders. The kick's strength and damage isn't fixed, it scales at random ranging from the lightest damage that could ever be dealt - up to the biggest strongest damage that the Universe could ever produce - and potentially a damage that could rip through reality itself. Gooddy fears this ability so much, if not for it being toggleable - the stand would've been totally uncontrollable.
User: Officer Gilbert "Gooddy" Twoshoes of the NYPD
Gilbert, or as he is called 'Gooddy', is an obnoxious, loud, ridiculous and often clumsy police officer who is treated as a joke among his peers, acting more like a clown than a police officer. But underneath that ridiculous outward personality is a boy who suffered severe physical and psychological abuse, leading to his psychotic tendency as a child of wanting to unalive his abusers in their sleep, something that he could now control - but that rage manifested into his stand.
You can just use anything as long as it fits your preference.
Real life has a lot of stuffs that can be used as Stand names, like these chess moves: Queen's Gambit, Scorch Game (based off Scotch Game), Stonewall, London System.
And I have one named after some of my other hobbies: False Nine (Soccer), All-In (Poker), Dead Man's Hand (Poker), Stinger (Golf)
I wanted to give a random character a stand and chose dexter. By following Harry’s code Karma Chameleon begins accumulating luck that can be used for mundane things like convincing people to surviving near death scenarios. However if Dexter breaks the code he will temporarily receive bad luck and the accumulated luck will reset back to 0
(ik it says day tripper in some part, BUT I renamed it to in between days.
