Has anyone had problems getting scheduled for insertion?

My Eversense 365 sensor is expiring in June. I've had it almost a year now and it's been wonderful.

Eversense contacted me to get new prescription for upcoming sensor and I did. My doctor is no longer doing insertions in his office and Eversense told me that I had to fill out paperwork online, give credit card and insurance information and sign everything and they would contact me immediately after that for an appointment for the insertion.

I told them that I had to have a month notice for work to ask off and they said it would be no problem.

So here they have my credit card info, signed paperwork, etc... but it's been nearly a month now and no one from Eon has contacted me to make my appointment. I've called and left messages several times and talked to several people telling them how important it is for me to give a month notice and that I absolutely can't have a lapse of not having a sensor.

But they keep promising to call me immediately and no one calls. Eversense said they have their regional manager working on it trying to figure out what the problem is.

Has anyone else gone through this with them? It's Eon, not Eversense that's the problem. I don't know what to do.

My Story

I’m not usually one to post personal things like this, but I wanted to share something important.

About 90 days ago, I went to the doctor to talk about weight loss surgery. At the time, I weighed 350 pounds and was completely exhausted with the way I felt physically and mentally.

The doctor told me I qualified for surgery, but after blood work came back, everything changed. My fasting glucose was 425, and my A1C was 11.8. I was told I couldn’t have the surgery unless I got my A1C below 9.0 first.

That hit me hard.

But instead of giving up, I decided I was going to fight for my health. I cut out sugar, cut out about 90% of my carbs, started tracking my glucose every day, and stayed consistent even when it was difficult.

Now, 90 days later: • My A1C is down to 5.0

• I’ve lost almost 50 pounds

• My testosterone levels are back in the normal range

And the craziest part? I don’t even want the surgery anymore.

What I really needed was to believe in myself again.

Still a long way to go, but for the first time in a long time, I know I can do this.

Hey guys, I got my insertion done yesterday (yay!) and am wondering how long it took you all to heal. I am very allergic to adhesives and am worried I will have a reaction to the sanistrips and the top bandage (subbed gauze and hypafix for tegaderm because tegaderm gives me bad reactions). Did any of you have to take off your steristrips before the 7-10 day window? What happened? Did you replace your strips?

Thanks for your help!

I was so excited to get Eversense as I had heard how accurate it was. This has not been my experience at all and I'm getting to my wit's end.

I had my first sensor for a month and it never was accurate. It constantly read low. Senseonics replaced it under warranty.

I've had my second one for just over three weeks. This one sucks also. It just reads in the 90s regardless of what my bg is. Customer service had me reset it so I had to redo the initial 4 calibrations. I had a good 48 hours after that, but now I'm back to being 30+ off. This morning when I woke up it said 66 and my fingerstick was 108. Last night before bed it said 94 and my fingerstick was 78.

What should I do? I'm calibrating twice a day now. From a fingerstick. With clean hands. Only when my bg is stable. I'm double checking fingersticks to make sure they're accurate. Does this just not work for some people?

Hi everyone! I just had my Eversense 365 placed in my arm this previous Saturday. All is going great! I am just wondering if there is a way to make your glucose numbers show on your watch face? I can view my dex on the watch face if I choose to, but it doesn’t show the E365 as a choice when attempting to add to a watch face?

The E365 app IS showing on my watch, if I look for the app, but I really enjoyed seeing my numbers on my wrist when driving with the dex. Is there a way around this, or any expectations that we might be able to add it to the watch face in the future? I am aware of/used to be annoyed with watch faces that wouldn’t allow the dex, but there were some that did. Just can’t find any watch faces that allow me to use the E365. Sorry for asking the same thing one hundred times!
