I was so excited to get Eversense as I had heard how accurate it was. This has not been my experience at all and I'm getting to my wit's end.
I had my first sensor for a month and it never was accurate. It constantly read low. Senseonics replaced it under warranty.
I've had my second one for just over three weeks. This one sucks also. It just reads in the 90s regardless of what my bg is. Customer service had me reset it so I had to redo the initial 4 calibrations. I had a good 48 hours after that, but now I'm back to being 30+ off. This morning when I woke up it said 66 and my fingerstick was 108. Last night before bed it said 94 and my fingerstick was 78.
What should I do? I'm calibrating twice a day now. From a fingerstick. With clean hands. Only when my bg is stable. I'm double checking fingersticks to make sure they're accurate. Does this just not work for some people?
I'm 13 days into my second Eversense. I had my first one for a month, then had it replaced under warranty as it wasn't accurate at all. This second one is still terrible and just has no idea what my glucose is. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong to make this not work for me.
I am using the clear patches and changing/charging at the 60 hour or so mark when the battery gets to 20%. Every time I talk to support they ask if I'm changing and charging daily. I answer truthfully. I ask if what I'm doing is okay but they can't tell me because the overseas call center just follows the script. I have yet to talk to anyone in support that really seems to understand the system or be able to offer me actual guidance.
