Account hacked

I need help to get my Epic Games account back. It was hacked and I can’t access it anymore. I just want my account recovered as soon as possible and secured so it doesn’t get hacked again. I need real help to fix this problem.

Epic Account Recovery Process is doing PSYCHIC damage to me.

I'm on my 3rd try and this time I submitted an appeal for the third. For context I've been on this account for 4 years at this point. And one day I couldn't log in. I don't have access to the original email anymore but I still remember it. I just could never change it cause epic required it to change to a new email.

I knew something was up when I tried to open on my switch and my account was logged out.

In the recovery I provided

  • Account ID and OG email
  • Past usernames (spanning the 4 years)
  • A fucking GOOGLE doc worth of evidence of me playing on the account including switch which can't be faked

It just feels like this system is so automated that a real person isn't actually looking at the recovery tickets and you're just waiting 48 hours to be told no.

Ad it's weird. I tried to log in, doesn't work. I tried the reset password, "account not found". So now I'm doing the account recovery stuff. Anyone who's more knowledgeable about this, can you tell me? Cause when I put the OG email in the log in when I'm offline my account name still logs in that way, I just can't play anything. And it's still visible to my friends on their friends list so.....what the fuck?

EDIT: I think I would be less pissed about this, if it didn't take 2 days of silence to be told by what I'm assuming is a bot to fuck off. If it was a faster process then I'd be singing a different tune.

Epic Games denied my account recovery even with receipts and original email — what can I do?

Hey everyone, I need some advice because I think I am done for.

My Epic Games account got hacked and I lost access. I tried to recover it through support multiple times.

Here’s what I provided to them:

  • Original email used to create the account
  • Multiple purchase receipts (with invoice IDs, order IDs, and dates)
  • My display name
  • Proof of past account connections (GeForce NOW, PlayStation Network, LEGO account emails, etc.)
  • Screenshots showing linked services and account activity

At first, they said my info didn’t match their records. I realized I may have given some incorrect/incomplete info in my first attempt.

So I opened a new request and this time :

  • Gave correct original email
  • Provided exact receipt details
  • Kept everything clean and accurate
  • Added additional proof like emails showing account connections/removals

Despite all this, they replied saying they did a “thorough investigation” and decided to keep the account in its current state for security reasons, and then closed my ticket.

Important detail: the account is still active and being used (not by me).

I also considered logging in through PlayStation (since it was linked before), but I’m not sure if it’s still connected.

At this point I’m confused:

  • How is original email + receipts not enough proof?
  • Is there any way to escalate beyond normal support?
  • Has anyone actually recovered an account after getting a final denial like this?

Any advice or similar experiences would really help. I have spend over 200$ on this account. (Yes, this is chatgpt)
