he checks the subreddit ..

a while back when i first joined the subreddit i asked a couple of you guys where to find the please H E L P song from edward skeletrixs discography. A very helpful person did help me find it for me, but when i said its sad its only on soundcloud a couple months later body of work releases. With one specific song on it, “ Art is Suck The Life Out Of Me ..” i think he saw me (specifically me) and decided to realize body of work for a late birthday gift. He should’ve released it on my birthday

My initial thoughts on Body of Work

wow, so this album really exceeded my expectations. There are some great songs on here that i’d consider Edward’s best work to date (Eg. Slavery, Turn Off The Lights, Chaos In the Order). I feel like he took what made Museum Music so cool and ran with that for 26 songs. My only qualm with this album is the 10 different “Art Is Sucking The Life Out Of Me” tracks, i feel like if there was only 2 or so this would almost be a completely flawless album in my eyes.

I also want to talk about how beautiful some of the songs on this are. Obviously Slavery is amazing but holy shit i think Chaos In The Order rivals that. This album has a perfect blend of some really beautiful songs and some “bangers” (like Guest List, Luxury Delusions Aéronef, etc.).

I’m very pleased with what we got on this album, i’ll probably have to relisten to this but based off this first listen i had a great time. Im sure whatever Edward has in store for us next it’ll be very cool.

in 5 years will Edward seem cringe and get the xxxtentacion treatment?

i feel like he videos of him could definitely be posted like the “what’s a father” thing and just laughed at but idk

No Namski Ticket?

I ordered tickets on the Namski website for the London exhibition/performance and I haven’t received any tickets in my email.

Is this normal?

Hot take?

Ive been a fan of Edward’s music for a long time. Even tho i think his other forms of art are interesting, the main thing I liked about him was his music. As much as I love his music, i feel like it has slowly been on a decline since skeletrix language. I know he’s lost his passion for music so this makes sense but its like his music transformed, not just fallen off. does anyone else feel this way? Still love edward
