Hello!

I was just reminded that the 2023 stocks for the 100 years anniversary will be released this month (next week). Has anyone experienced this system via equate plus or similar options before?

From what I understand, the best would be to sell half of the amount via equate plus right away and then transfer the remaining value to a stock program within your bank. This way you'd use the first half (sold) to secure budget to pay taxes on the value of the stocks you'll get (the other half).

I am quite new to this though and I cannot even see how I can manually handle it through the online platform. So your advice would be very welcome!

(Note: they get released this May for those affected by the mass layoffs of last autumn. Others still employed might need to wait til August I think.)

Hey everyone, a while back I shared my deep dive on the battle between Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk. In that post, I argued that while Lilly is currently viewed by the market as the offensive builder, we shouldn't count out Novo Nordisk, as they are patiently building their counterattack, especially in the oral drug market. Today, we got some major news for both companies that perfectly illustrates this dynamic. Novo reported their first quarter numbers for 2026 today and raised their 2026 outlook due to massive GLP-1 momentum. In my original post, I highlighted that oral drugs are the key to transforming the obesity space from an injection niche to a mass market. Novo is proving this thesis right now because their Wegovy pill, launched in the US in January 2026, just delivered the strongest-ever GLP-1 volume launch in US history, racking up over 1.3 million prescriptions in the first quarter alone. I previously noted that Lilly’s tirzepatide led in raw metabolic power and weight reduction. However, Novo just launched Wegovy HD, an injectable 7.2 mg dose, in the US, which has shown a mean weight loss of 20.7 percent, putting them right back in the heavyweight fight regarding efficacy. My deep dive also warned about the continuous drop in net prices due to rebates and pressure from pharmacy benefit managers. We saw this reflected in today's earnings because while reported first-quarter sales jumped 32 percent, heavily boosted by a 340B provision reversal, their adjusted sales actually decreased by 4 percent due to lower realized prices in the US.

Meanwhile, Eli Lilly saw its shares drop. The dip was triggered by a single reported case of liver failure associated with their weight-loss pill, Foundayo, which popped up in the FDA's adverse events database. Analysts from RBC and Evercore called the selloff an overreaction, pointing out that one unverified case does not make a signal and that the drug had a clean liver safety profile across 11,000 patients in Phase 3 trials. Why the sudden drop then? As I discussed in my valuation breakdown, Lilly is currently priced for absolute perfection, trading at a premium forward price-to-earnings ratio of around 45x as the ultimate compounder, while Novo trades at a much cheaper 12x to 13x. When a stock is priced for a winner-takes-all scenario, even a single adverse event report can temporarily spook the market. Overall, today's news reinforces the idea that we are heading toward a durable duopoly rather than a winner-takes-all market. Lilly continues to face the pressure of sky-high expectations, while Novo's focused, specialist approach with oral semaglutide is starting to pay off exactly as planned.

What do you guys think, has Novo proven that the market punished its valuation too harshly?

Does anyone know if its possible to skip the 5% own pay of pension, and have it paid out with my salary instead? 10 % is more than enough for me

This sub is full of pple telling stories about how they were hurt or have seen someone being hurt by a bad manager.

It is also very clear that recent layoff and the new culture have meant that good managers were either fired or left on their own.

This thread is for us all to shame those bad managers that HR are not taking any actions to remove.

Mention the initials, what they did.

People should vote on how much they agree that this person is bad.

Wegovy Overtakes Zepbound and Mounjaro in Google Search

Nordea Bank Report:
Wegovy is becoming #1 US household anti-obesity brand
We attended Meet-the-Management Thursday in London, finding several interesting points throughout the day: First of all, Novo Nordisk is sharpening its commercial focus on building a brand around Wegovy rather than being a GLP-1 manufacturer. An important difference, in our view. Here it is interesting that Wegovy is becoming the number one household anti-obesity brand in the US when looking at Google Trends, with the trend shift being visible around the turn of the year. This rhymes well with scripts trends, with Novo Nordisk still showing a solid Wegovy pill uptake while Eli Lilly's Foundayo launch remains subdued. From the sessions, we also understand that Medicare Part D bridge programme volume pick up in H2 2026 is an immaterial part of the guidance (at least in the low end of the range).

Hi there,

If you are offered a position to cover for maternity or paternity leave, are you also entitled to have salary coverage (if job level and salary are different)?

Thanks

Evolve survey out today

Wondering how many people will answer this truthfully or even at all. They are asking the same questions as last year ( this year the add one new one under culture). In our department we have so many discussions throughout the year regarding these topics and nothing gets resolved. Last years evolve survey didn’t even get addressed just a lot of fluff talk but no action or improvement.
