Last year, NN CEO, Mike Doustdar was quoted in the media for saying, that in his previous jobs he never missed his financial targets & promises.
Well this upcoming Q1 release, is the first time Mike has to deliver on a target he set himself - rather than his predecessor.
Let's hope for all of us that - after 4 consecutive quarterly misses in 2025, that he is right and we will keep his promise to the market and start a new trend of delivering based on the sales target of -5 to -13%, and hopefully even better.

If you look at Lilly’s Q1 detailed press release, you can see that in US, they sold less GLP1 in Q1 than last year in Q4.
I think this is the first time this is happening in a long while - and it sends a good signal for what Novo Nordisk is about to announce next week for their Q1 GLP1 US sales. My guess is that NVO is starting to put pressure in US on LLY and we will see the exact impact of that next week.
