Hi, I recently purchased the DJI action 5 Pro and I’m so excited to use it! I live in Florida, so I wanna take it to the beach do some light snorkeling maybe take it to the springs but I’m going back-and-forth of whether I should have waterproof housing for it. The sounds are oddly one of my favorite parts of underwater videos and I read that sometimes the housing can take away. I’ve seen people say if you’re gonna take it in the ocean it’s better safe than sorry and just get the housing. What do you guys think? Have you used it in the ocean and it been fine? I’m not gonna open the ports or anything in the ocean and I’ll keep it in the housing that it came with in the adventure pack, but what do you think?

They're kinda expensive for me and i wanna create content so bad and I'll need it for cinematic and stuff.

The flip screen on my DJI Osmo pocket 3 stopped flipping to horizontal. I tried everything.

Firmware, factory reset, etc. nothings working. It’s 18 months old. I contacted support and they tell there’s a long wait to get it looked at. The good news is it’s still usable. I can still report in a horizontal format, I just have to deal with the smaller screen

Casual user nothing rough, holidays, underwater in a case and mounting on top of Nikon Z8. GoPro failed after no more than 10 outings, black screen, failed recordings every time...tried new SD card and firmware reinstall but nothing works, got feed up with the battle....plenty of similar reviews all over the web just too unreliable.

Got an amazing deal on Action 5 pro bundle.....my question is.....with the action 5 pro launch some 2 years ago are there any 'known' issues or weaknesses with it.

I own the Action 4 and I’m looking to get a microphone for it. looking at the Mic 2 do I need to get the RX combo?

I want to use this to record my motobike videos, either placing it in my helmet or to record the exhaust noises.

for these purposes do I need to get the RX as well, or can I buy it as a standalone product, is there any disadvantages to not buying the RX?

Hi everyone, I need a hand with attaching my action 6 to my backpack. All of the straps and clips I have used only allow for vertical adjustment and not horizontal, and as I am a big guy my backpack straps turn outwards slightly, causing all my footage to be facing away from what I’m looking at. Did a walk through my local town and filmed more of the walls than I did facing forward.

Has anyone got a working suggestion for this? I’ve looked at the neck mounts but I don’t think I would get one comfortably over my head without it looking like a necklace! A chest mount might work, but I like the idea of it being attached to my backpack and forgotten about.

Finally got myself to order the Osmo Action 6. Hopefully its worth it - my first ever camera, if drones don't count.

Yall have any advice for starting, like some settings I need to instantly change?

I ordered the dji osmo action 5 pro few days ago.

Lowkey feeling unsure now because I see dji and go pro are planning to drop new cameras only a couple hundred more than what I paid.

I'm wondering if the Osmo action 5 pro is actually the camera I need. I'm trynna get a camera to film stuff otg I wanna film cars, film random moments.

Sometimes I also wanna film cinematic stuff but Im aware Osmo packets are wayy superior for that purpose but I was planning to make do.

At the end of the day it's the driver not the car. Ig.

Just read the new PetaPixel article. They actually got a direct statement from DJI saying the OP4 won't be available in the US market because their "authorization is still pending."

Huge bummer for anyone ready to upgrade today. Just wanted to give you guys a heads-up.

I’m new to using the action 6 and Filming in general. Got the A6 to have something more sturdy. While I understand it’s an action camera I bought it for more vlog/travel content but it always seems to curve or almost fish eye when filming. Am I doing something wrong? I’m not in love with that look. I do have the macro lens as well. To follow has anyone used an ND filter with the macro lens? Thank you

i just got mine and cannot get it to pair with my Action 5 pro.

Ive found a few videos showing that pairing should be as easy as just turning them both on and they will start pairing but nothing seems to be working. Any thoughts?

Now that Osmo Pocket 4 has been launched, do you see any chance that the price of Osmo Pocket 3 will drops?
