I have a Ronin 4D that I can’t get service on if it were to break. The new pocket cameras are being blocked. There are no American alternatives that match DJI and even if there were, we’re supposed to have the option of buying the best we can for our work

So, I've been wanting a drone for quite some time now and the time has come for me to acquire my first drone.

I have narrowed my options done to two different drones, the Air 3s and the Maveric 4 pro. I know the Mini 5 pro is popular but since it doesn't have the 70mm lens it is out of the question for me. I thought about waiting for a possible air 4 or air 4s but waiting is never good in life.

So my two options are:
The AIR 3S Fly more combo package for 1650€ (Because I want the RC2 controller and extra batteries, also the ND filters and the carry bag will be nice)

The Maveric 4 pro for 2600€ (I would buy an extra battery or two and also the bag for the drone)

I mean, 1000€ more is quite a lot more but the Maveric 4 is just newer and better with more range and the camera quality is just incredible. Also having the 168mm lens is a plus.

I'm usually really careful with my stuff so I doubt I'll crash it or lose it even though I'm a beginner. I know that is something to consider but honestly I'm not really concerned about that.

Any advice? Which one would you pick in my position? I will mostly use the drone for intermediate level photography and videography but also for just flying around and exploring the areas close to me.

So i have never used a drone before. I am looking for an entry level drone which I can use in India. I do a lot of hiking. My main use of the drone will be outside the city in open spaces likes lakes, rivers, and a few waterfalls during monsoon. I have 3 options available in the local offline market in my city -

DJI neo

DJI Mini 4k

DJI flip.

Cost wise, the neo is much cheaper. However i got a few ppl telling me that for my use, neo wouldnt be a good idea. Can ppl here advise me which drone should i go for? I am a casual user. Not into any vlogging or anything.

I’d mainly use it for higher-quality content, travel clips, and recording testimonials. For people who own one — do you think it’s worth buying at this price, or should I spend a more and go for the Osmo Pocket 4 instead?

Just passed my part 107 test and I’m looking to buy a drone. This has been discussed to death I’m sure but with the major DJI restrictions in the U.S currently, would it pay better to get the Air 3S or the M5P if either crashed and needed a repair?

Love both drones from the research I’ve done and scared if I got the M5P since it came out close to the time of the restrictions (Sept 2025) that many repair shops won’t be able to have the parts for it.

(I would go for a non-DJI one but not much of a fan of the other ones on the market..)
