If you print it might as well frame it.

So I’ve been having fun with getting the pictures I take with my x100vi off the screen and into the world by printing them. Mostly to paste in a photo-album and stick a few on the fridge. It’s just a joy to see things in print as a physical thing and I’ve been surprised by the quality and affordability of good at home printing these days. Last time I messed around with that is about 2 decades ago and things have really come a long way since then it seems.

So I tought let’s do some framing to instead of just sticking them in an album. Thought I’d share my process of getting them framed here. I know it’s far from perfect, I only had normal float glass lying around not non-reflective, I’ll probably change that out later whenever I need something at the glass shop. Also the black marks are burn marks, this wood (zebrano) seems prone to it and I need to sharpen my saw blade. Normally I would have sanded it out but I kind of liked the black marks in this with the vulcano in the picture, so left them on.
