Our injury list is starting to become a real concern
With Wharton and Lacroix coming off recently, and Doucoure still not fully fit, we’re starting to look really thin, especially with the European games coming up. Who do we even start in midfield for the next few matches? It feels like we’re running on fumes just as the European semi-finals are starting. I’m worried we’re going to burn out the few fit players we have left before we even get to the Shakhtar game. What’s everyone’s emergency XI for the weekend?

Clueless.
Came across this when lurking in the spurs sub. Not even sure where to begin unpacking this.

I suddenly wanted to buy eze’s short from 24/25 season. Is there a resell site or shop, which provides authentic shirts. Like stockx.

Fixture congestion, title race and Conference League
Palace play City in the rescheduled match on 22 May, then Arsenal on 24 May. If we manage to get past Shakhtar, the conference league final is 27 May.
There is no way we play the full squad in all three of those matches in 5 days unless our league position REALLY matters somehow. If the title hasn't been decided by then (maybe Arsenal will have fully collapsed), we could be put in an awkward position of playing more starters on the 22nd than on the 24th.
Perhaps we play approximately equally weakened squads against City and Arsenal? Then again, are we trying to get up the table still? It's a real mess.
EDIT: Or will the league find a different date for the City match? I'm getting conflicting information.
Question for English fans of the club - what would mean more to you out of us winning the Conference League or England winning the World Cup?
reddit.comAre we overthinking the run-in or is there actually something big on here?
It feels like everyone’s split right now between “league doesn’t matter” and “we’re still in this race,” and I’m not sure which side I’m on anymore. On one hand, the Conference League is clearly massive for us and probably the most realistic route into Europe. You can see why people would prioritise that, especially with how thin the squad can look after midweek games. But at the same time, the table is still kind of open? We’re not miles off those European spots, and there are a bunch of teams around us who still have to play each other. It wouldn’t take a miracle for things to swing a bit if we put a run together. I guess the real question is- do you go all-in on Europe and accept dropping points in the league, or do you try to ride both and see where it takes us?
"Crystal Palace players were allowed to go out in Florence last night after reaching the semi-finals. Glasner said: 'This was the same thing that the Eintracht Frankfurt players asked when they won the quarter-final in 2022. Hopefully, the ending of the story will be the same.'"
West Ham on Monday , what’s everyone hoping?
So I’ll be going to the game on Monday and while I think generally I’m happy with whatever result and just want to watch an entertaining game there is obviously the fact that if West Ham do get a result it increases the chance of either Tottenham or Forest getting relegated ( and either would make me happy)
However one thing we can’t forget is that we are also six points off sixth place with two games in hand and if Aston Villa do end up winning the Europa league and also qualify for the Champions league via league position this basically opens up a champions league spot for sixth ( I think? Though correct me if I’m wrong)! Also to note we are playing many of the teams that are also vying for the same spot before the end of the season.
So now I’m thinking in a way this is also a must win game: just imagine if we qualify for the champions league by ending arsenals title winning hopes on the last day of the season and then further cement that by winning the conference league a few days later? That may almost top the FA cup win if I’m being honest 🤣! What does everyone else think?
This looks a bit familiar…
This old Swiss Oi! Band was recommended to me as an aging punk, but their album cover was the first thing I noticed! Forgive a poor Canadian, but were these guys known to be Palace supporters?
Palace v Shakhtar
I really want to do my first ever European away day in Krakow. I’ve seen a few people on here say they’ve got a ticket in the home section, but the family member I go to games with is worried this might not be completely safe. Is there a certain section of the home seating (e.g. next to the away stand) where everyone is buying tickets? We’d like to be next to other Palace fans if possible, and certainly not near the home ultras lol.
Bournemouth already have Marco Rose in place as their new head coach to replace Iraola. How now Palace?
Both our clubs have ascendent managers that have opted not to take another contract, yet Bournemouth (arguably a lesser club than Palace) have already been proactive and have a plan and manager ready at seasons end. Why do I fear we will scramble in the offseason?

instagram.comWill the fan shoppe at Selhurst Park be open for the game Monday?
The store hours shows that it closes at 17:30.
Will the store stay open for the game at 20:00 Monday?
Is it going to be a near empty stadium on Thursday 30th?
The Henryk Reyman stadium has a capacity of over 33,000 and according to a club bulletin on 'the ultimate away day', our ticket allocation is only 2000...
It seems unlikely that Shakhtar will be able to muster a huge number of fans and I appreciate that the home fans should have a numerical advantage, but it seems ridiculous to host a game in a decent-sized venue and leave it mostly empty
