I’m planning my first ever marathon for autumn, ideally late September or October. I’m happy with anywhere in the UK and potentially even in Europe. I want it to be: relatively flat, lively/fun/a good atmosphere, and not sold out for 2026 (lol). Where do you recommend?

Some races I’m considering:

- MBNA Chester

- Yorkshire

- Frankfurt

I really want to do my first ever European away day in Krakow. I’ve seen a few people on here say they’ve got a ticket in the home section, but the family member I go to games with is worried this might not be completely safe. Is there a certain section of the home seating (e.g. next to the away stand) where everyone is buying tickets? We’d like to be next to other Palace fans if possible, and certainly not near the home ultras lol.
