I’m very impressed with BotW
I’ve been playing BotW on my PC for the past few days and I am stunned with how Cemu has been handling it. Consistent 60fps with maybe a single digit amount of frame drops or stutters across 10 hours, increased LOD and resolution, better texture filtering, on a controller that’s better than anything Nintendo’s ever made. I’ve played this game tens of times on official hardware, but Cemu has completely and thoroughly obliterated any experience I’ve ever had with this game, both on switch and Wii U. It even runs at 60fps in the damn KOROK FOREST. That location would often drop to single digit frame rates on switch for me, but on Cemu, it handles it just as well as any other area.
This is maybe one of the best experiences ive ever had with an emulator. I haven’t tried a lot of other games on it yet, but… I mean, the Wii U didn’t really have that many games. I’ve had poor experiences with Super Mario 3D World (a lot of crashing) but for the game I actually care about playing, it’s amazing
