What would be the proper way for me to leave the Android 17 beta and not have to worry about wiping my whole phone? (Pixel 6 pro)

I've done some reading but I've not found these directions terribly intuitive and when it's dealing with something like wiping my phone, I don't exactly want to do the process wrong. The impression I have is if I deal within a certain time window during the beta I will be okay?

But I also get the impression upon opting out. I can just deny the update to go to stable and I will get the stable Branch when the next stable Branch releases and I don't have to wipe the phone?

To be clear, I don't have issues with the 17 beta, so I don't know if I should just stay opt-in to set beta since I imagine Android 17 will be my last version. I just don't know if remaining on beta once 17 releases is going to have some unforeseen consequence or issue down the line.

[CA] Looking to settle debate with my friend concerning an obstructed license plate and officer detaining someone. (really looking for how this would be handled by most states in the US rather than 1 specific state.)

How much does running botw at 60 mess with the core gameplay?
