05/07/26 15:36 timid when approached, whale eyes and pancaked down as I lassoed leash on and took him to the quarantine room. Once unleashed began marking spots along the door and then approached me. Bumping my hand for pets and rubbing side against me like a cat. When I sat down on the floor he climbed onto my lap and squeezed in to make himself fit

Pearl is suffering from severe spondylosis, a painful spinal condition affecting her mobility and comfort. The finder believes she may also have been hit by a car. She is currently limping, timid, and scared in the shelter environment.

Despite everything, Pearl is described as sweet and tolerant, and senior dogs like her deserve safety, comfort, and compassion — not to spend their final years suffering in a kennel.

P: radiograph images revealed a previous fracture of right femur that is healed due to the boney callous surrounding it. recommend radiologist and ortho consultation. long term can develop early osteoarthritis. did not place on oral pain meds since the fracture is old and healed. does not seem painful upon palpation. Ketofen and Antisedan given.

4/18/2026: Quiet in kennel, walked on a loose leash.

4/17/2026: 04/17/26 12:56 Walked with loose leash out to runs. When I went back to retrieve him was play bowing, zoomies, but as I entered kennel noticed Harvey was started to get overaroused and forward barking at other dogs in neighboring runs as he ran around. I tried to call him to me but he kept running around keeping away from me, then he started to get nervous and held his tail tucked and began to run away from me. darting around to avoid being cornered. eventually was able to lasso leash on and he walked with tail tucked, semi-loose leash slightly behind me inside. Froze just before going into his kennel and had to push him over the threshold.

4/15/2026: Mr. Hoveey was a move adopt this morning, we bring him she was a little shy . walking slow, with her head low.

4/25/2026: Harvey walked on a semi-loose leash this morning but redirected for kibble treats. Once in the run he did his business. He walked back in on a loose leash and went into his kennel with no issues. He's quite throughout the day and loves to be pet.

4/24/2026: dog was moved over this morning so far dog has been quiet in the kennel.

4/20/2026: Harvey presented neutral body, low wagging tail and soft close mouth when approaching. Removing from adopt eval due to no negative behavior.

5/2/2026: Ms. Harvey was standing at the front of the kennel as he presents loose body, wagging tail and soft close mouth. Was easy to leash and walked on a loose leash to runs.

4/28/2026: Stands at the front of the kennel as he presents loose body, wagging tail and soft close mouth.

5/4/2026: Move adopt out of treatment ward. Dog was placed into kennel by ACT using treats and baby talk. Dog is sitting at the front of the kennel door with a soft open mouth and wagging his tail.

4/23/2026: ACT noticed when the dog was walking her was hacking, not pulling on the leash. Seems to have a nose that was clear and no ocular discharge.

4/24/2026: S/O: Phlegm in kennel and hacking. A: DDX CIRD. P: Move to Tx room and initiate treatment; Rx Doxycycline 250mg SID x 10 days.

5/4/2026: S/O: 10 days of doxycycline completed. no clinical signs observed. A: URI resolved. P: move out of treatment kennel.

This beautiful little family needs help before sickness or human hands claim their lives.
They will need a rescue to get them to safety.
A shelter is no place for a young mama to raise her babies. It's loud and scary and full of germs.
She deserves a safe place to finally feel peace and keep raising her babies.

4/17/2026: Artem has a wiggly body, soft facial features, and wagging tail. keeps kennel clean through the night.

4/18/2026: Mr. Artem had a relax body , slow moving tail when i approached, did keep his kennel clean threw out the night. Was easy to leash and walked on lose leash to runs.

4/19/2026: dog was in the kennel with wagging tail and back in his kennel lay down in front of the kennel.

4/20/2026: Artem greets me at kennel door, she presents a wiggly body and soft open mouth . Easy to leash and she walks out wiggly to the outside runs. She remains wiggly while outside. Walks back on a loose leash and I place her treats on her bedding and she goes to eats them. Quiet and relaxed after am cleaning.

4/26/2026: Artem greets me at the kennel door, he was over aroused when trying to leash. I offered him treats and chicken and they redirected him enough for me to be able to leash him. He came out of the kennel full of energy and walked on a semi-loose leash. In the run he ran around, play bowed with neighboring dogs and then sat with a relaxed body laying body while waiting to come back in. When he's in the kennel he's quiet and is usually seen with a relaxed body laying on the floor.

5/2/2026: Mr.Artem greets me at the kennel door with a wiggly body. Was able to leash with no issues. He walked on a semi-loose leash to the runs. When he came back he was jumpy , pulling on the leash to his kennel. Notice as the day pass he started to forward barking and lounging as dogs were walking by.

5/3/2026: Same as yesterday 5/2: greeted me at the kennel door with a wiggly body. Was able to leash with no issues. He walked on a semi-loose leash to the runs. When he came back he was jumpy , pulling on the leash to his kennel. Notice as the day pass he started to forward barking and lounging as dogs were walking by.

5/4/2026: Artem shreds his blankets, covers and tennis balls. He greets me with a relaxed body, and leashes well. He walked on a loose leash to and from the runs. Keeps his kennel clean other than whatever he shreds.

5/6/2026: vocal this morning, walks on loose leash placed blanket in kennel did not shred as of now today , nyla bones help him stay busy.

•PUMPKIN SPICE #A5720544: 10 month old, female Boxer? (that's how she's listed, but I disagree) 37 pounds, came in as a stray on 4-8

This angel thought she found her forever home as a 10 pound baby back in August

2025.... Only to end up Euthlisted at the shelter less than a year later

Pumpkin Spice is a super fun, energetic, loving and super cute little pup! She would be a great companion for the kiddos and would fit in to any home. She is non reactive to dogs on leash and just wants to have fun and be loved.
