I’m taking them back lol. The toe box is too narrow, and there’s a crease in them that really hurts my foot. You can actually see the crease in the picture. It’s quite uncomfortable.
Gonna go back to the Ghost Max and hope for the best. I love the colorway though. Wish they had this one in the Max. Oh well…
Bought these for my son on Monday for $130 and he wore them Wed, Thurs, Fri and this is what they look like already. He’s in school all day and has 1 hour of PE each morning. So only 3 hours of exercise in.
My Ghost Max OGs have been through a lot with me. We moved to a different country together, saw a lot of nature, and a lot of city miles. A good year and a half I got out of them. So long, old friend. You will be missed. 🫡
I bought them for all-day wear, so I preferred the leather version. I think they’re both stylish and very comfortable. I’ve only been wearing them for two days, but they seem really good so far.
Received my new Ghost 17's today and after trying them on I am not feeling too good about the decision to buy them. I wear size 7 1/2 US sizing. I had previously owned a pair of Ghost Max and a pair of Ghost Max 2 in that size. The new shoes are really tight. Like I can't move my toes. Should I not be expecting Ghost Max like comfort with these shoes? I guess I did not do enough research before buying them. Anyway, I'm going to return them and get something else but I don't know what. They are just for wearing at work. I'm on my feet a lot. Does anybody have any suggestions for me? Thanks.

For those who caught my post about being disappointed with the Ghost 17s the other day, these are MUCH better for me. Super comfortable, roomy in the toe box, and very good for me as a heavier runner. My feet feel like they’re wading in a velvet sea… in a good way.
So now that I’ve told you the story of the Ghost Max, I’ve got to blaze on.
I have recently gotten back into running as an adult. I was an athlete all throughout middle and high school and then fell off the bandwagon during college as a lot of people do. I’m currently in week 4 of couch to 5k and everything was going super well until last week when I started to experience some hip pain on a run. I took the weekend off of running and even went to my local running shoe store to be fitted for actual running shoes thinking that may be the problem. I was wearing some Adidas Cloudfoam tennis shoes and then bought Brooks Glycerin 23s. Walking through the store and around the house, I love them; however when I began my most recent run, I am experiencing pain around my knees on each step.
Does anyone have any advice? I’ve never experienced this before with running and the Brooks Glycerin seems like a pretty well loved shoe.
I have always run in the regular ghosts land have never had any issues . I have started noticing plantar fasciitis a bit lately though. Would you guys recommend the extra cushion with the max?
Did my first 1k yesterday with streetshoes, looking for some good running shoes any recommendations? I had the ghost 16 or glycerin max in my mind.
Glycerin 23 GTS. In person possibly Brooks' best looking shoes. Daily drivers for the last year have been a few pairs of Ghost 17's, was looking for something new.
I do my runs in Ghost Max 3's. Might try these out running also.
I had originally bought the glycerin max 2, but they're too tight. I heard the glycerin max are good for wide feet (though not advertised as such) but now they aren't on the website anymore! I wanted to buy on the Brooks website because I like the fact that I can return them even used. I saw that the Ghost Max or Glycerin 21 are also a good rec but those aren't on the site anymore either 🫠

I saw someone posted a comment on how the fixed the toe box crease from hurting toe. They sanded it or tore out the toe box liner? Trying to see how you did that
Before this, I used to wear cheap, no-brand shoes that were about two sizes too big for me (US 11), and honestly I loved the loose feeling lol.
Recently, I decided to invest in a good pair of walking/running shoes, so I went with Brooks Adrenaline GTS 25 and got what should be the correct size (US 9.5). My feet measure about 26 cm from heel to longest toe, so the shoe should already have around 1.5 cm of extra space.
To my surprise, they felt uncomfortably tight, especially around the heel cup area. I even measured my feet again just to make sure they were still 26 cm and hadn’t somehow grown longer. So now I’m wondering what’s going on. Maybe I’ve been wearing the wrong shoe size for so long that properly fitted shoes just feel strange and need some time to get used to? Or should I return this and get another pair one size up?
I got my Ghost Trail today and they’re even prettier than they looked in photos! They’re very light and cushioned as expected. They also have a frontal plate like the Cascadia, which is a nice surprise. I’m looking forward to run in them and I’ve already been wearing them the whole day at home.
Hey, i just want to complain that after running just 3km in brooks shoes i returned them cause i didnt like them.
They cant accept those shoes because i „used them”. They advertise it on their site this slogan but it seems that it doesnt work in Poland?
I literally used them for 3km. Im dissapointed with this company. Fuck brooks, never again

I absolutely loved my Brooks Ghost 15 but it's time for a new pair. I tried the Ghost 17 and hated how they felt. Stiff, the heal felt lopsided. Just awful. I then tried the ASICS Gel Nimbus and hated how high the sole is. I felt it in my back.
Any suggestions for a shoe that's like the 15? I can't find them anywhere. Thank you!
