Couldn't decide if the Super Chronomat is better on the rubber or Rouleaux

So while the watch was all taken apart I decided to snap a few shots. Didn't help me decide which strap was better though - any thoughts?

Chillin with 42mm

A right pretty timepiece. Out of all the watches I own, this is by far the easiest to read (where that matters).

Champagne dial

I love this Champagne dial in the sun. I get distracted and lovingly look at even after 2 years.

That is all.

Still partial to 48mm

Am I in the vast minority or are there others missing the Bentley line and larger mm?

It’s throwback Sunday

2005 Aerospace Avenger. When I bought this I thought it was the sheeet. On my last service I had to get the original dial replaced due to moisture getting in and damaging the dial. Unfortunately Breitling had to replace the Chronometre Certifie dial with the Chronometre Aerospace. So while not perfectly original it still is great after 21 years.

Aerospace E79362 Issue after service

I had my Aerospace serviced about a year and half ago. I noticed after some time there looked to be dust on the watch face.

At first I thought it was on the sapphire, but (to me) it’s clearly inside. I brought the watch back to Breitling and in the service request they said there *is* no dust on the watch face.

I want to be this isn’t a natural patina, or it didn’t come from the manufacturer original with this pattern (I’ve had the watch a long time).

Thanks for the help!

From dreaming of being a pilot to finally owning a Breitling at 50% off... but was the "Gray Market" gamble worth it?

I’ve had a deep connection to Breitling since I was a kid. Like many of us growing up, I wanted to be a pilot, but my eyesight had other plans. That aviation DNA always stuck with me, and the Avenger series was always the "grail" that represented that dream.

I finally pulled the trigger on an Avenger 43, but I didn't go through an AD. I took a massive gamble on Jomashop for a 50% discount. I know the Gray Market is a "scary" place for many—no factory warranty, shipping anxiety, and the "is it authentic?" fear.

I’ve been wearing this "tank" for a while now, and I’ve got some honest thoughts on whether saving that much money is worth the "catch" I found. I'm curious—has anyone else here risked a big luxury purchase on the Gray Market recently?

Help required

I have just bought a second hand 46mm navtimer GMT.

When setting the GMT hand, it jumps between the hour markers and actually makes the other hands jump as well. All videos I've seen show the gmt hand being smooth in operation when setting it. Is this normal or does it need a service?
