Looks very similar to the Scott Carpenter they issued last year but this one has a meteor dial and the Artemis II patch on the back. I love the blue color of it. It’s also a lot more affordable at $11900. I’m calling my AD when they open today. Only 450 to be made, so fingers crossed.

Today Astronaut Reid Wiseman is circling around the backside of the Moon with the Artemis II crew. Making them their mission the furthest humans have ever traveled from Earth.

As they do this, Wiseman is wearing a new Brietling Cosmonaute to honor Astronaut Scott Carpenter, who wore the original Cosmonaute during his Mercury mission.

Seems like a fantastic day for me to wear my Cosmonaute, here just outside of Boulder, CO where Scott Carpenter was born.
