2005 Aerospace Avenger. When I bought this I thought it was the sheeet. On my last service I had to get the original dial replaced due to moisture getting in and damaging the dial. Unfortunately Breitling had to replace the Chronometre Certifie dial with the Chronometre Aerospace. So while not perfectly original it still is great after 21 years.

[Mido or Longines] opinions requested

Hello, I have a 20th anniversary Breitling Aerospace Avenger that I have owned since 2005. It’s now time for something new. I have narrowed it down to the Mido Ocean Star 600 and the new Longines Hydroquest. Does the Mido caliber 80 si (COSC certified) with the 80 hour power reserve really outshine the Longines 788.4 movement which has a robust 72 hour power reserve? The 60 BAR water resistance of the Mido, vs. the 30 BAR of the Hydroquest is not a factor for me.

Thanks in advance for any opinions provided.
