A defense of PvE
First of all I love this game, although I love most games. And this one at $40 is a steal. Second, I'm writing this post as a cautionary tale. I agree with this community not to turn this game into another PvP shooter. PvPs can be great and tons of fun, but the market is saturated with them, and eventually people move on once the next big one drops. For the health and longevity of this game, it needs to be something different. This game will live and die on the PvE experience and not trying to be like COD or Tarkov. All this to say, I think the problem is that too many players circumvent ABMM. Super aggressive players that purposely fake nice just so they can get into friendly lobbies and shoot unsuspecting raiders is profitable and easy, but it turns people away from the game. Some may not care, but when enough people quit then the game dies and everyone pretends to wonder why. If you want to PvP, then PvP. But don't pretend nice for a half dozen matches just to lower your difficulty. That's weak sauce. Anyway, play how you like just some thoughts. TLDR; PvP loop is played out. Rats abuse ABMM to the detriment of the game. PvE gives the game a chance to be different.
