“Tinder anime” app with tier list maker & ranking maker

Hey again it’s been a while since my last post, and today I’m back with an update for AniNext that I wanted to share with you guys.

🙏 First off, I want to thank you for the support and feedback on the previous version it really helped a lot, and I managed to fix quite a few bugs and I improved a lot the app

For those who don’t know the app yet and want to try it, I’ll leave the description below

👉 What you can do in the app:

•	Swipe through anime to quickly find something new

•	Get recommendations based on your taste

•	Track everything in one place (Watching, Completed, etc.)

•	Sync with AniList & MyAnimeList

•	Track episode progress automatically

•	Get notifications when new episodes drop

🔥 Recently added:

•	Tier List maker (drag & drop from your own list)

•	Ranking system (build your Top 10 anime)

•	Share your lists as images

I know it’s still not at the level of AniList or MAL, but I’m improving it step by step.

I’d really appreciate any feedback good or bad 🙏

Update on Genre Selection feature being made by aryan for Cloudstream👀👀👀

Can't wait for this feature blur episodes and titles also coming in the official app soon because of the goat Aryan👀

Test out his fork right now (this app is for testing purposes not a real fork/app, just a app for testing grounds for what Aryan has planned for the future of cloudstream🫣):

Is Antova premium legit?

I’ve been using Antova for a while and I really like it. I just hate the ads. And wanna buy premium, but it takes you to another app to buy it so is it legit or a scam?

I made a Songless-style game but for Anime Openings

Hey r/animeapp**!**

Lately I’ve been playing a lot of Songless, and it got me thinking, why isn’t there something like this for anime openings? So I ended up making one.

It’s basically the same idea: you hear a short clip from an OP and try to guess the anime. If you skip or get it wrong, you get a slightly longer snippet each time.

One thing I really wanted to avoid was getting stuck on shows I’ve never seen, so I added AniList support. You can just type your username (no login or account connection at all), and it pulls from your completed list so everything stays relevant.

Features:

  • No login required, just open and play
  • Optional AniList username search (no account linking needed)
  • Modes like random, top anime, seasonal, etc.
  • Autocomplete supports English titles, romaji, and common nicknames

You can try it here:
https://akmoid3.github.io/SonglessAnime/

If anyone checks it out, I’d love to hear what you think or if something breaks, still tweaking things.

Also curious: what’s the hardest OP you’ve managed to guess so far?

What apps do people use

Hello, so I haven't used any streaming apps in a long time, last apps I used were anymex, animezone, no (yes, that's the name it was developed by the people who worked on cloudstream) cloudstream 2 and saiko but they're all long gone.

What do people use nowadays

I built Kagami - a free, lightweight anime & manga tracker with MAL + AniList support and episode drop notifications

Hey r/animeapp! I'm Adonis, an indie developer, and I just launched Kagami on the Google Play Store.

Kagami supports both MyAnimeList and AniList - you pick your platform at login and everything syncs from there.

What makes it different:

  • MAL + AniList fully working today
  • Episode drop notifications for airing anime
  • Can't track more episodes than what's actually aired - keeps your list clean and accurate
  • Upcoming episodes section + "not yet aired" in Plan to Watch
  • Clean, non-bloated UI - you stay in control
  • Free with non-intrusive ads - Premium available to remove them
  • iOS in progress, target fall 2026

I built this because I couldn't find an app that handled both well. I am a user of my own app too, so I will make it the best in the market.

Would love your feedback!

Would you like??? having your favorite ANIME character built into your phone apps...

What kind of tool you guys imagine before?

Because I love setting my phone wallpapers to characters I like... Even laptop as well...

So I was thinking… what if all my apps (calculator, notes, clock, etc.) had that same theme?

Would that be cool… or too much? 🤓
