Escalating tensions in the region

In light of the recent statement by the Iranian military concerning the incident involving its ship in the Sea of Oman, it appears as though there is a lot more tension brewing in the geopolitics sphere.

Being in close proximity to this scenario here in the UAE, I think that it is absolutely necessary that we begin to think about our preparedness and the safety of our people. Particularly, would it be wise for schools to continue running normally in times like this?

It's not merely talk; it's a statement towards stability. I think that it's about time we got proactive instead of being reactive. Are we ready for anything that may happen? Should there be some adjustments made in regards to schools' timings until all blows over?

It would be interesting to hear everyone's opinion on the matter.
