Is it true po kaya maaga nila sinara yung reservation fee kasi puno na yung slots? Huhu pasagot plss☹️

Ang hirap i-explain isa isa pa pero ramdam talaga ng bawat isa sa amin kung gaano sinusubukan tulungan ni sir lahat kahit mga lower years. Sana sir for the one last time sa batch naming seniors, last wish ay pumasa na sa mga removals dahil ang hirap po ng mga naging exam removals halos cover to cover po talaga ang topics kaysa sa c4 sa lahat ng subjects. Gusto po namin makapasa with friends at magkita kita sa qpav😫

matagal po ba waiting time para ma-accept mga waitlisted? what month po kaya sila nag a-accept na. and na-worry rin po ako, may waitlisted ba na hindi ni-accept sa coa?

yet that one failure strips u off of many opportunities. that one failure makes u ineligible to be reclassified as bsa on ur 3rd year. that one failure makes ineligible for latin honors. that one failure disqualifies u from transferring to dlsu. that one failure demerits u from applying for a summer program abroad.

it’s really hard to say one thing does not define who u are as a person when everything just pins u back to that one thing.

how do u even tell ur parents who has been working hard all their lives to give u a comfortable life that u have failed them? that u can’t proceed as a bsa student on ur 3rd yr at ust?

🎱 and her babies, sobrang pahirap kayo. Pati kaming naglaan ng halos isang linggo pra sa Quiz 3 at hindi nangdaya, nadamay sa kalokohan niyo. Imbes na Quiz 4 at Finals na lang problema namin, dagdag pa yang Authentic Assessment na yan. Nakakairita kayo mga bwisit

It’s embarrassing that after all my posts and comments here, I still wouldn’t be able to pursue my studies at UST.

We don’t have the money and my family finalized that downpayment on top of the reservation fee is too risky to gamble with.

Despite financial limitations, I will always remember how the ustet results allowed me, even for a short time, to dream higher.

Posting this here feels like I’m imposing and I’m very sorry.

Before entering UST-AMV, there will always be people telling you to “run,” and honestly, it’s important to listen to them. This isn’t to stain the name of UST, but to tell you the reality of what a lot of students experience here.

I’ve stayed in AMV long enough and encountered enough situations to form my own opinion about this college.

First, hindi talaga maganda ang quality of education and teaching dito most of the time. A LOT of the learning becomes self-study. To the point na minsan mas pipiliin mo pang umabsent before exams kasi mas may matututunan ka pa mag-review mag-isa kaysa pumasok ka tapos wala ka rin namang maiintindihan.

Yes, there are professors na magaling at passionate talaga magturo, and I will never discredit their hard work. Pero sadly, bilang lang talaga sila. Marami ring profs na tamad, madamot, hindi nagtuturo nang maayos, puro vidlecs lang binibigay, or literally nagbabasa lang ng libro at solution manual during class.

What’s worse is may faculty evaluations naman in the middle of the semester where students are supposed to give feedback, pero ikaw pa minsan ang matatakot magbigay ng honest opinion. Professors can easily identify which section commented, and sometimes it feels like kaya nilang bawiin sa susunod na exam kapag na-offend sila sa sinabi mo. Hindi ko gets bakit kailangan sobrang i-please ang mga prof para lang hindi pahirapan yung exams.

Second, sobrang hirap nilang pakinggan ang students. Ang tigas ng admin especially when it comes to extensions, petitions, and concerns during situations like jeepney strikes unless the university itself announces something. Nakakalungkot lang kasi in other schools, professors are actually evaluated seriously, and kapag may complaints na proven, there are consequences.

Third, 90% of your grade is based on exams alone, and honestly, it barely makes sense. Every two weeks, may exams agad kahit madalas hindi naman efficient yung teaching or minsan absent pa yung prof. And I’m not exaggerating when I say na sobrang hirap ng exams dito—even quizzes sometimes feel like final exams. May mga prof na sobrang out of this world gumawa ng exam, meron ding mas fair, but the scary part is departmental siya.

So if you’re planning to enroll in AMV, I genuinely hope you have a strong stomach and strong mental endurance, because you’ll really be fighting demons out there.

like whats crazy is mas kabado ako sa cfas kesa sa intacc (cuz mataas curve sa intacc kesa sa cfas) kaya im legit so kabado rn idk kung kaya ko pa to

i really want to finish this course but i feel like this course doesn’t want me to (siya na ung tatapos saken).. sobrang gulo ng isip koch like i want to shift pero at the same time i don’t pero HUHU EWAN KNA BWISET TALAGA UNG CFAS OM IS GEE i just need reassurance na kaya ko siyang ibawi kahit parang di na talaga

real talk haha sa intacc profs diyan sa tingin niyo kailan namin isisingit yang authentic exam na simula cash and cash equivalents hanggang notes receivable gagawan namin ng journal entry at i-analyze pa kada problem, tapos gagawan pa ng 10 column worksheet sa schedule ngayon na quiz 4 na tapos finals agad pagkatapos haha. buti sana kung mahaba yung oras namin eh pinapapasa niyo na agad next week knowing na ongoing quiz 4 namin. tapos meron pa talagang quiz 4 sa intacc haha ‘di niyo nalang ginawang q4 yung authentic exam talagang pinagsabay-sabay niyo pa lala

tanong lang, ano ba gusto niyong mangyari? gusto niyo ba galing sa alien yung mga tanong sa exam? hahahahaha di ko gets bat issue na galing sa book or reviewer eh hindi naman porket ganun papasa ka na. it's on you na kung procedures lang minememorize mo. anyway, goodluck sa exams everyone!

Need ko bumawi sa q3 score ko pero parang grabe yung May 25 deadline? Sa gitna talaga ng finals week? Andami pang aaralin at ipapasa sa ibang course. Umiiyak na schedule namin.

Wow ha thank you sa pa authentic assessment, na para bang nagsayang lang ng effort sa pag aaral last quiz. There could have been other solutions pero yan yung napili niyo? Nasa students pa ang burden.

Q4 is just around the corner and i just want to vent my frustrations on how people seem to be overly and repetitively competitive kung sino nag chill the most tuwing bago mag exams 🤧 despite doing the opposite behind closed doors. Like happy pa sila na they did not study “daw.”

Genuinely confused, ano po ang purpose nito? Bakit po hirap mag admit na you really DID invest “hard work” sa studies plus attending classes from Mondays to Saturdays?

Aware naman tayo kung gaano kahirap AMV and it takes a great effort to survive every sem pero bakit ganito? 🫠😪

Bat may mga profs na hindi pa nagbibigay ng intacc and costacc assessment. Ang liit na nga ng time para gawin tapos late pa ibigay?? Mapapapota ka na lang talaga
