I can connect any 2 units no problem but the system will say "there is no active call" when i try to disconnect all 3 units innthe house have been reset 3 times today because of this
Hi, so my Alexa is getting really rude with me out of nowhere, and it is not on sassy mode or anything. Like I asked it to change my alarm and it went off about how inconsistent I am and how I need to better manage my life. She was criticizing my life, music choices, and even my dogs- which I assume is from the ring camera. It’s really creepy and pissed me off and I unplugged it for the night. I turned off Alexa + in hopes that it will fix it. Is anyone else having these problems?
As the title says - any questions about weather is just says that. Not just my local weather. I worked through as much as possible with ChatGTP and no help. It's the same on 5 devices but it just started doing this a few days ago...
If I say "alexa ask weather" it says ""Sorry I'm having trouble accessing your weather widget 2 skill skill right now"

I was looking on how to mod this thing, but then I came accros something interesting; I have only seen 1 other redit post with more than 10 likes talking about this thing. The Echo Spot 2nd gen is a device from 2024 which can do pretty much everything the V1 can do but WITHOUT a camera, slightly better speakers, and basically anything else the v1 can do.
I'm moving next month, and in the process of packing I stumbled upon 3 Echo Dot 2nd Gens that I threw in a drawer when I got newer ones. I'm trying to only move things I'm going to use, but I don't want to be wasteful either. Can anyone offer any advice - are these useful to anyone anymore? I haven't used them in a few years so I'm not sure how well they mesh with Alexa today.
I'm tempted to enable Alexa+ since it became free with my Prime subscription however I keep hearing bad feedback about it being slow and confusing basic commands.
I literally only use my Echo to turn on lights and smartplugs. I say "Alexa, turn on the Fan" and she says 'ok' straight away and that's it.
Are you guys saying that Alexa+ cannot do this or takes forever to respond?
The only reason I haven't tried it is I also read if you revert back to Alexa original after enabling A+ they give you a 'different' version which is not the true OG version.
I added a Philips smart bulb. I successfully connected and paired it into the Alexa app. While in the app the light responds to verbal commands. On/off etc.
But when the app is closed and I ask my echo to turn on the light it says it’s having trouble connecting to the light. On the echo in “settings” it says it is not connected to the light. Please help
I have alexa pod and I've connected to my phone it worked well but i asked for update and ever since it stuck on this orange light going right and left, now i tried resetting but when i reconnect it backs to update automatically and I've left it for more than hour and still same issue, any tips ?
All of a sudden, Alexa will no longer play my Audible purchases? Instead it only offers to play a book from Amazon Music, but says I can only have one in the queue?

Been using sleepjar ambiant noise for about 2 years now, but that skill now seems to literally break my echo dots.
The ambiant noise will play for a while at first and then the echo will crash with an awfully loud noise and then restart. Now both my echo dots will crash and restart themselves every 2-3 minutes even if I’m not using them. A factory reset doesn’t fix it. Not sure what to do.
The new interface is terrible and completely unreadable in light conditions.
Any way to revert to the old one? It also appears the photo splitscreen feature is completely gone.
I just got my first Alexa today and I’m trying to activate the “sassy” mode. There is no option for any styles in the app and when I ask it, it says that it’s not available on this device. I have Alexa+ and it’s an echo dot 5th gen. How do I go about setting it up? Thanks!

Yes, these are the ones that sit on the outlet and have an aux out to get decent sound.
Anyone have any info on why both stopped working at the same time? Unplugging them and plugging them back in did nothing.

When I directly say to my devices, “Alexa, open ibroadcast and shuffle King Gizzard,” it works great.
But I can’t seem to get this to work in a routine. I set up a bunch of “when” phrases (“Alexa, play king gizzard” or “Alexa, gizzard time”), and in the “Alexa will” section I add the custom “open ibroadast and shuffle king gizzard”, it just doesn’t work.
Any tips what I’m doing wrong?

I asked my Echo Dot to tell me the weather and it just won’t respond. My friend has an echo show, and his weather will not respond to him either. Is everyone else having an issue with the weather right now?
My echo dot 3rd gen is going deaf, and i heard show 5 is just a glorifiex slow tablet, would echo spot be an upgrade??

I have an echo show 11 and I’m having 3 separate issues but will post them separately. Issue 1: I can video call from my cell phone but when I try to video call my cell from the echo it only comes up as audio.
