Dropping a Slash/Myles Kennedy song
Anastasia by Slash, Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators.
Give it a listen if you havent before.
Am I the only one that dislikes the newest album?
I know WTS gets a lot of hate, but I feel like AB8 is a worse album. A few decent tracks, but I'm just not digging it, bottom of the list for me.
How is your top played playlist looking?
I could have guessed straight away that My Champion would have been at the top but I thought Blackbird would have been higher.
Anyone else get AB as their most streamed artist?
I thought the minutes streamed would be higher as I've had my Spotify account since 2010, but I went through a phase of listening to my CDs rather than streaming for a few years.
Atlantic City.... wow.
Incredible setlist. Loved the new songs live. Thank you to Mark and Brian for the picks, thank you to Brian for asking me about my Oasis shirt. Unforgettable.
Awesome show at Boston
Got picks handed to me for singing every single song lol. Myles also gave us one himself def a great memory.
Show was super sick, mark singing burn it down was an unexpected highlight. Super sick!
Thoughts on Walk The Sky
The following post is subjective taste and personal opinion, so please treat it as one
I'm not particularly familiar with what the general view of this album is but i personally don't like the Mix
It is not terrible, however, it is very dense, i feel like that everything is fighting for space and clashing with other instruments, i think the most notable example of this is the intro to Forever Falling when the Acoustic Guitars stop and the Drums enter, i feel like the Drums and the 808 drops are a bit overwhelming, which is not ideal for a band that has a lot of focus on guitars and vocals
and i find the mix a bit too dark, i feel like in a moment with guitars, vocals, bass, and drums and possibly other layered instruments, i feel like the guitar tone does not fill high frequencies and the only thing remaining in that range are cymbals, which for my taste are a bit too buried, they're not exactly filling that space left, and goes back to what i mentioned earlier, with it being very overwhelming, and a lot of stuff fights for space in the mix, and i see this problem on Pawns & Kings as well but on a smaller scale, and their Self Titled is a bit more digestible for my taste.
Apparently Myles is currently sick & trying to conserve his voice ☹️
According to a random FB post I stumbled across, it looks like poor Myles is sick and didn't sing as much at the last concert:
Got an awesome souvenir at the AC show the other night

Was at the Omaha show last night. Fortress, like it is for many, is one of my favorite songs of theirs. I knew they were playing it during their shows this tour, so I was ready, but I was not prepared. A religious experience. Please come back to Omaha.
I'm trying to get better at Tremonti's fingerpicking style and I'm searching for his hardest parts. I've learned the following, are there any other notable one's that I should tackle?
One last breath
Blackbird

Ghost of days gone by
