Thoughts on Walk The Sky

The following post is subjective taste and personal opinion, so please treat it as one
I'm not particularly familiar with what the general view of this album is but i personally don't like the Mix
It is not terrible, however, it is very dense, i feel like that everything is fighting for space and clashing with other instruments, i think the most notable example of this is the intro to Forever Falling when the Acoustic Guitars stop and the Drums enter, i feel like the Drums and the 808 drops are a bit overwhelming, which is not ideal for a band that has a lot of focus on guitars and vocals
and i find the mix a bit too dark, i feel like in a moment with guitars, vocals, bass, and drums and possibly other layered instruments, i feel like the guitar tone does not fill high frequencies and the only thing remaining in that range are cymbals, which for my taste are a bit too buried, they're not exactly filling that space left, and goes back to what i mentioned earlier, with it being very overwhelming, and a lot of stuff fights for space in the mix, and i see this problem on Pawns & Kings as well but on a smaller scale, and their Self Titled is a bit more digestible for my taste.

I usually change the artwork of albums in my library in case they are low resolution, there is an alternative artwork i like more, or sometimes even just out of boredom, however ever since the interface got updated, i've encountered the client fetching the artwork from the server instead of the library every time i select a song to play, i try my best to showcase it here, not posting for any reason in particular, just thought it was weird and wondered if anybody had noticed this as well
