Why there are such large number of Muslim people in Ajmer

Today I had a 3 hrs stay at ajmer railway station and sheer number of muslims I have seen is huge.

Even on my journey from Ahmedabad to ajmer, I observed the same. A whole coach was full of peaceful community people (every single passenger).

Is it me or demography of Ajmer has changed.

Are these people coming from West Bengal to settle here?
