I saw someone’s post about hating Abby and honestly seeing that hate that this person is getting is very unsettling for me. Abbotsford has always been such a religious and conservative town, with many who claim to love Jesus but actually just oppress a lot of marginalized folk. It is a problem that should be addressed and seriously looked at. One of my close friends was badly assaulted by someone who currently works at Northview Church, in their lead team. Yes. He still has a position there. Why? Because he is a white male who will usually be believed by judicial systems while she is a 5’1” marginalized woman. Studies have shown that if you are racialized, you are less likely to be believed. It is a fucked up place with a lot of religious abuse and just because people LIKE abby does not mean you have to ignore it’s legitimate problems. See things for what they are. Stop hating on individuals for having had poor experiences in certain cities. Racism is real, and it needs to be acknowledged.

Has anybody else noticed a sudden decline in quality of Abbotsford’s Subway sandwiches? It might just be me, but it seems like the taste changed for the worse in February or so. Also, they get soggy as hell much faster than they used to. I used to be able to count on refrigerating them overnight with no problem. Now it seems like six hours is the max before they start to get icky.

I mostly go to the one on SF Way by Clearbrook, and the one on George Ferguson between Garden and Gladwin.

I have been getting the exact same sub for a long time, so it’s not like there is any variation in the ingredients.

Hello! I'm a 25 year old dude who has played online rpgs for many years, but I would really like to start playing with the great people of Abbotsford.

I could GM (but likely not host) and bring some good times. I'm experienced with a bunch of TTRPGs from fantasy, horror, action-adventure, crime time, and many others.

Hey everyone, I’m looking for recommendations for a trustworthy mechanic in Abbotsford who can do a full, honest diagnosis on my car to see what all I need fixed.

I’ve unfortunately had a few past experiences where I later found out I was misled about what was actually wrong, so I’m a bit cautious now. I try my best to stay on top of maintenance, but I don’t really have anyone in my life who’s car savvy to double check things for me.

I’ve looked through some older posts and Google reviews, but I’d really love to hear recent, personal experiences, especially with shops that are known for being honest and not upselling unnecessary work.
