Hello, found some cards in a yard sale and found this one all beat up.
Is it worth anything in this condition? Thank you!

Finally got caught up. :D
Hello! Sorry if this a little long winded but I need to give the lore of these cards.
So, these cards are around 20 years old, their my older brothers cards that he never played with so he’s never traded or played with them at all, my mother bought them from the entertainer (a toy shop in the uk) and said they came from a blue tin with a window on the front.
The question is, are they legitimate?
I’m a bit sceptical as they do not have serial numbers or licensing on them but I have heard that cards can have printing errors? And that some older cards didn’t have licensing on them at all.
Also we heard that if you peel back a card and see the name of the card embedded (pressed in during production) into the back of the card it means it is a legitimate card? So we had a sacrificial lamb. (RIP the five god dragon card we peeled)
We just need to know!
Thank you yugioh experts :)
sharing some of my old cards from the early 2000s and onward.
Quarter Century Anniversary First Edition PSA10
Hi all — I recently dug out my old childhood Yu-Gi-Oh! cards and I’m trying to figure out the best way to sell them.
I have 1st Edition SDY and SDK starter deck boxes. The manuals and playmats have definitely seen some use, and each deck is unfortunately missing two cards, but most of the contents are still there.
I also have some 1st Edition cards from LOB, MRD, and MRL as well as some vanilla ones. I cataloged everything in the Collectr app, and from what I can tell, the three cards pictured along with the starter decks seem to make up most of the value.
I know condition is a huge factor, so I’d really appreciate if anyone could:
I’m also trying to figure out the best way to sell:
I’ve also heard about consignment, but I’m not sure how to find a reputable option — would that be a better route for someone without an established selling history?
Appreciate any advice — thanks in advance!
Just picked up two card packs of the maze set after not playing Yu-Gi-Oh for like a while
Currently in Japan at the moment and am looking for this booster box. Most stores I’ve asked don’t have it and, being my first time in Japan, might be missing the main stores that could have them. Is anyone aware where these might be sold?
So I was dueling yesterday and a heated discussion happened about whether or not an effect goes through. The situation was as follows
Opponent’s Ame no murakumo was special summoned, and when special summoned it wipes the board of face up monsters.
I chain with mitsurugi prayers and on activation I tribute my murakumo to use both of mitsurugi prayers’ effects add a mitsu monster and take 800 damage and special summon a mitsu monster from hand or grave. I add a card and special summon mitsurugi no mikoto, kusanagi on the field. Nothing else gets chained after that. So prayers is resolved kusanagi gets on field but then he gets destroyed due to murakumo’s effect.
Now after everything was resolved I then use kusanagi’s effect since he was special summoned I get to target and add a mitsu card from grave or banishment to my hand, but my opponent says no that that doesn’t go through since he got destroyed and sent to grave so his effect misses timing. Is that right? His effect says “if this card is normal, special summoned or if this card was tributed: you can target 1 mitsurugi card in your grave or banishment except mitsurugi no kusanagi; add it to your hand” im pretty sure the effect still resolves since he did hit the board first before being destroyed and sent to grave.
I just want to know if I was right or not since it keeps weighing on my mind.
For this DDS001 BEWD, are these two cards the same? One has the label 2002-2011 promo, but the other just has 2002.
Dug out my old collection and had these still. A bunch of other random cards as well, but these were the ones that I saw were worth a little bit of money. The dark magician is probably my most valuable but not sure if it’s worth getting graded or not. Might sell or trade it for Pokémon cards since that’s what my child is into right now.
Do you guys feel like these prices for unlimited are justified?
For this DDS001 BEWD, are these two cards the same? Specifically one says 2002-2011 promo and below white dragon P (see photo) the other says 2002 and below white dragon SCR. Thanks!
I knew I had these in my collection. I don’t know too much about Yugioh cards since I stopped collecting them over 15 years ago. These are minty except for one of them with a wear on the corner. No scratches on the surface. The thing that worries me are the edges, they’re not straight cut so I’m wondering if it’s just that era of cards.
