Should i remove stickers ?

To achieve a polished and minimalist look, I'm looking to eliminate them and not have "R7" appear everywhere.

What do you think guys ? Any example of yours without stickers ?

DW I will definitely remove the OEM turn signals for the one from TST

What should I get r6 or r7

So I’ve ridden quads and dirt bikes all my life, I’ve ridden 250 and 300 quads. For dirt bikes I’ve ridden 110s, and 125s i haven’t gone really above that, I’ve also ridden mopeds around 150-200. So I have experience on road. I’m about to buy a 250 Yamaha yz250f but I’ve talked to people who actually ride and some recommend a r6 thing is they rev up to 16k rpm which could in some circumstances match a liter bike(I’d get a 2017-2020 r6). Or should I get a r7 which I got recommended too id also get a newer r7 for $7-8k because I know I’ll eventually sell a r7 to get a r6. So if yall can help out I’d greatly appreciate y’all’s opinions!

2026 R7 parts compatibility

Hi everyone, I just noticed that the new 2026 Yamaha R7’s come with turn signals built into the rearview mirrors. I currently have a 2024 R7 and was wondering if anyone has tried to do the conversion with the new mirrors yet?

Where to purchase

Yamaha YZF-R7 2026. I’m trying to find sites where I can purchase yoshimura exhaust, tail tidy and blacked out windshield but all of the sites say for 2025 and older. Any suggestions?

Covered the baby blue on my 2026 R7. what do you guys think?

Finally decided to get rid of the lighter blue accents and go for a darker look. I love the stock blue color and this feels a lot more aggressive. Curious what you guys think.

Getting my 2026 R7 delivered tomorrow! Need your opinion on some cosmetic mods. Powder coat the wheels white and the bottom fairing to white as well.

What do we think ?

Front brake grips too quickly at slow speeds...anyone else experiencing this?

I at slower speeds or in city traffic, when I hit the front brake just about locks it up no matter how soft I pull the lever.

Does anyone else experience this? Has anyone adjusted it to be smoother?

Yoshimura R77 Sound Check

Just installed my R77 2 days ago! Can’t hear it in this video, but on deceleration it pops like crazy (no tune).

I need some serious chain assistance

So I bought this DID 525vx3 110link chain for my stock Yamaha r7. The issue is that it was too long and stock chains for r7 are 108 links. But once I cut 2 links off, it was too short. Now I have to buy a new chain. The question is should I buy this same chain and only cut 1 link off which it would seemingly fit perfectly, or buy a recommended chain from you guys that is precut for my bike

TLDR; cut chain too short and need recommendations, preferably without trimming

UPDATE: I fast ordered a new chain and only took off 1 link and it’s now all connected back up and tensioned!!! 👍 thank you everyone

Really fallen for the r7 over the years

Bought this bike brand new a little over 2 years and 12,000 miles ago. It was supposed to be a temporary intermediate bike to really hone my skills after 1.5 years on a Ninja 400. I have to say that although I occasionally wish for some more top end, this bike is seriously fun every single ride.

I live in a major metro, so I deal with lots of traffic, interstate highways, suburban twisties, lane splitting and filtering, and sparsely traveled backroads. The engine and bike is absolutely stoked to do any single one of those scenarios.

While I def see the appeal, I can’t justify daily riding an I4 supersport where I live. I have a good job and can’t afford to get caught touching 150 mph anyway. My bike still sees triple digits easily almost every day and off the line and to about 100mph feels absolutely quick, faster than 98% of the vehicles out there ( definitely humbled occasionally by fast bois on supersports doin wot ). While it’s not “slow” per se, I do enjoy pushing a slow bike fast more than babying something that’s miserable down low and happiest all the way up.

It’s slim, athletic, beautiful, and sounds distinctly cool, mine w a yoshi and some tasteful mods gets compliments daily. It’s going to hurt when I trade it in probably for something with a CP3 next year. It’s an insanely fun and very capable bike<3

Thanks for listening to my rant, especially since most of us are already R7 fanboys and know all of this already. I guess this is more for the bros who don’t know the bike well. It’s very versatile and with the skill set you can Almost ride it to its full potential.
