Decimator Refurb (WIP)
Picked up another Decimator in a job lot, figured I'd have a go at a custom paint scheme.
It was quite heavy on the paint, but a couple of IPA baths and scrubs later, got it nice and smooth

A few custom fang fighters I printed and painted up for my scum squad
We all have played for different lengths of time, off and on through the years, starting at different phases of the game's life, but after all the years, here we still are.
So my question is what was the moment that made you commit yourself to this magical game.
For me, I had gone to visit a friend for a weekend at some point in early 2017 and he mentioned he had just started playing it and asked if I wanted to try it out. He set up a table with 3 tie fighters on his side and gave me an xwing and the millennium falcon to fly. I had no idea what I was doing and got crushed, but the depth of the game was immediately apparent to me and I went home and started researching what I needed to get into it on my own.
Let's hear your stories
Ive been working off and on for a while to get some proper 3d terrain for HotAC campaign. There were lots of free options for most of the terrain, turrets and such but there wasn't anything properly 3d for the space station. So I set off to make one myself in blender and I've finally gotten the printed version from a friend. To my great surprise and horror it actually worked and didn't fall apart entirely (mostly).
I'm very happy so far! This is just a little pic, the whole set is huge with connectors, splits, landing platforms and all that. Should be able to run any station mission I know of. Plenty of space on top of each part to fit turrets, shield gens and fuel tanks. I'll post updated pictures once I've gotten around to painting the whole lot.
Hi! I'm looking at setting up a tournament for the x wing miniatures game in Newcastle! If anyone is interested give me a message!
It's a game about piloting ships and dogfighting with an enemy squadron set in the star wars universe
If this seems like something you'd be interested in but you're totally new to this kind of thing, I have all the kit you need to start playing and would be happy to teach people!
May the Fourth be with you (I'm a day late)!
Several years ago, Gold Squadron Podcast (RIP GSP) commissioned some card art from me, to include the TIE Echelon in the background of the FO/Resistance ships.
I didn't get comp cards and I can't find a trace online, so I'm assuming they didn't get used. 🤷♂️
Anyway, enjoy. If you want some without a watermark, I can track down the files after work. 👍
I found one of these huge ships recently and the only other separatist ship I have is a droid gunship. I’m planning on playing against one of my friends who doesn’t use huge ships, so I think I might not need many other ships to have a fair fight, but are there any good lists or ships I should find to make the most of this ship?
Dear X-Wing Community,
10 years ago, DBDraft and I released X-Wing: Ground Assault, that added infantry platoons, walkers, turrets and extensive ground combat rules to X-Wing. Turning it into a large scale combined forces tabletop game. In that time, we had over 700,000 downloads of our free fan-made expansion pack. Which was truly epic to see!
Well we thought it would be nice to celebrate our 10 year anniversary by coming back and re-releasing with updates and a free "Battle of Hoth" campaign book. This includes 5 missions and one large echo base epic battle. The whole package lets you fight out with your friends to see who can change the course of the battle on the famous ice planet "Hoth".
We've added everything from AT-ATs transporting Imperial platoons to Snowspeeder tow-cable takedowns, including a few force driven surprises!
This update will include printable components, cards and unit tokens. We will be releasing the new rules + campaign book for free in the next weeks.
Keep a lookout on our website for more information.

Hi there. The completionist in me wants to know whether I am missing any official promo versions of first edition (1.0) Darth Vader. Are there any others out there? Thanks!
Does the "Must use the 1 bank template instead of the 1 straight template" for barrel rolls override the "Perform a barrel roll using the 1 straight maneuver template" rule of the tractor effect?
I'm sure this has been covered somewhere, so please point me there if necessary.
Unfortunately, I don’t have anyone to play board games with but have always had an interest to try X-Wing. Is this game able to be played solo?
Hey everyone, I am new here and been playing the game for just around a month. I have stumbled across a question about the Millennium Falcon and attacking at range 1 with the primary weapon. Do i only add an additional attack die when the target is in my main arc or does any range 1 primary attack also add an attack die?
Waging a protracted military campaign, and the enemy keeps choking your supply lines?
Trying to run a large scale smuggling business but the New Republic Rangers keep intercepting your shippments?
Trying to run a remote settlement and cant get supplies past the pirates?
Then the SL-1800 is the ship for you!
Not only can she haul a bantha load of men and material, but she also sports a reinforced hull, multiple shield emmitters, 6 point deffense lasers, a twin laser cannon, 2 quad laser ball turrets, and 4 of our all new Point Defense Arrays, each sporting 5 orddinance tubes, and 2 rotary blasters!
That should discourage any unwanted guests from crashing your party, and ensure that your cargo arrives intact!

I've been disappointed with the lack of a large base for the Republic. I'm open to custom ships, and love the look of the Nu-class shuttle, but am not huge on homebrewing stats and rules, as it's unreliable and I would be terrible at it.
But I am open to simply swapping the model for an already created ship. Any ideas? My first thought was giving it Lambda stats and rules, but I figured I'd ask here if any of you had better ideas.
Happy Star Wars day!
I got a my first huge ship a while ago and finally had some time to try it out. It came with the peg on the bottom in the first pic and the top peg is from the gauntlet. My problem is I tried fitting the bottom peg into both huge and large ship bases but it doesn’t fit in either unlike the 2.0 peg from the gauntlet. My question is there a special base for the 1.0 huge ship peg? I have a 3d printer so I looked online for stl files for 2.0 pegs to by pass this problem but only finding ones like the one 1.0 huge ship peg, which obviously doesn’t help.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Also happy May the Fourth!!!
