To da mewn

I see a lot of panic selling at the stagnat/dropping price. We've had nothing but good news for a while now, and increasingly better news as of late. Why is everyone jumping ship? I dropped another 1500 this week and Im not leaving. 6 dollars by mid 27 at minimum.

Hey everyone,

I’m building a closed-beta market intelligence dashboard and I’m trying to get feedback from people who actively follow crypto markets.

I want to be clear upfront: this is not financial advice, not copy trading, not trade execution, and not a “buy/sell signal” service.

The problem I’m trying to solve is more about workflow.

Crypto traders and investors usually have information scattered across a bunch of places:

  • exchange/watchlist app
  • TradingView or charting tools
  • X/Reddit/Discord/Telegram sentiment
  • macro news
  • BTC/ETH dominance and market structure
  • funding/open interest data
  • notes or spreadsheets
  • alerts that often lack context

I’m trying to build something that organizes market context better, especially around:

  • what moved
  • why it might be moving
  • whether there is a catalyst or just noise
  • what risk/context matters
  • what would invalidate the setup
  • what to review later

The goal is not to tell people what to buy. The goal is to make market research and watchlist tracking cleaner.

A few questions for people here:

  1. What crypto market information do you check every day?
  2. What makes a dashboard/tool useful vs. just another noisy “signals” product?
  3. Do you care more about alerts, watchlist context, funding/open interest, news catalysts, or post-trade review?
  4. Would confidence/risk labels be useful if they are explained clearly, or would that make you distrust the tool?
  5. What do you currently use to track why a coin/token is on your watchlist?

I’m mostly looking for blunt feedback before inviting more beta users.

If I get sued personally, can the lawsuit take my XRP?

I've been holding XRP for a while and lately I’ve been dealing with some legal issues, so this has honestly been stressing me out a bit. I’m trying to understand how protected crypto actually is in situations like this.

Would appreciate real answers from people who understand this stuff.

XRP The New Global Reserve Currency?

The United States has destroyed the dollar by treating it like Monopoly money. At this point, you have to look elsewhere to favorably store wealth. There are now thousands of options with the creation of cryptocurrencies but XRP is the one trying to integrate into the existing financial system.

That’s why it’s likely to win. It’s the chosen child. The golden goose egg. The one that ultimately will be safest and most regulated. It is the traditional banking system on digital rails. It will make movement of money faster and cheaper. It will make some every day people very wealthy.

But let’s not pretend it’s solving a major world problem. You can already exchange money anywhere in the world without XRP. For major economies those rails are already liquid and relatively cost effective and fast. Sure XRP tech is better in the same way that a modern car is better than one built in the 1960s. Both will get you from A to B. XRP is not solving world hunger, or providing a revolutionary product, or eliminating homelessness. It’s not curing cancer. And it’s not making your life one bit different except to the extent you buy early and it goes up in value (which it will).

It’s a currency above all else. And people that bet on XRP are betting it becomes just that. It’s making movement of capital cheaper and faster on a marginal basis for an extremely minority set of the world population, and people that are already rich and powerful to begin with. And it’s backing its way into world reserve currency status. It’s forcing us into a system whether we want it or not. It’s working with the system to try and become the system.

Look at it this way. XRP is a tidal wave caused by elite power players and we’re all in the ocean. You can either do nothing and let the wave rush over you, or you can hop on board now and ride it into shore.

When you get to shore if you ride the wave safely, you’ll have a beach home in Malibu or maybe two. But at what cost?

It’s part of the globalization of the world and the economy. It’s part of the digitalization of every day life. It’s part of centralization of control. It’s part of transparency in finances, and further monitoring of the public. I’m not against XRP. I’ve seen the wave coming and decided to ride it into shore. I’m just not sure how free I’ll be when I get there.

Goldman Sachs completely exits XRP ETF positions

Goldman Sachs has completely dropped its XRP ETF positions, according to its latest quarterly filing.

During the fourth quarter of 2025, the bank reported nearly $154 million in XRP-linked ETFs from issuers like Bitwise, Franklin Templeton, Grayscale, and 21Shares, making it the largest institutional holder at the time.

A few months after the launch of these spot ETFs in mid-November 2025, Goldman has removed all exposure. Analysts suggest this move reflects a more cautious stance toward altcoins due to macroeconomic volatility and recent crypto market conditions.

Old Ripple codes

When I was going through an old hard drive I found a cold ripple wallet. I'm looking to access it. I downloaded Xaman and put the code in. The wallet tells me that my account needs to be activated by adding my first ripple to the account.

Does this mean that my cold ripple wallet has to coins in it, or do I need to purchase some ripple and then find out if there's any and how much present in the wallet already?

What's next

For the CLARITY Act, the usual process now is:

  1. Senate committee approval ✅
  2. Senate floor debate and amendments
  3. Full Senate vote
  4. Reconciliation with House version (if different)
  5. Final House/Senate approval
  6. President signs into law
  • Best-case: weeks
  • More realistic: a few months
  • Worst-case: it gets delayed or never fully passes

Is the next phase of XRP utility actually commerce, not bank settlement?

Most XRP discussion still seems centered on banks, ETFs, regulation, and price. But with stablecoins becoming more normal payment infrastructure, I’m wondering whether the more practical XRP use case is smaller-scale commerce: marketplaces, escrow, services, storefronts, and cross-border seller payouts.

The part that interests me is that commerce needs more than “send money fast.” It needs buyer/seller trust, dispute windows, proof of shipment, milestone payments for services, messaging, and a way to avoid custodial middlemen.

Do you think XRP/RLUSD-based commerce is realistic, or is consumer behavior still too far away? What would an XRP marketplace need before you would actually buy or sell something with it?

Catch me up

Haven’t looked at my portfolio in a while and saw how low XRP is. Seems like a good buy - but I have no idea what the sentiment is these days.

Has anything changed in the crypto/ global scene that means XRP is less bullish? Whats your take on XRP these days?

Clarity Act

I hear lots of mayors of different cities are going to contact DC in support of the clarity act esp those with strong tech ties. They don't want web 3 and Blockchain jobs to be sent overseas
