[TOMT][Drum Machine Noise] I'm trying to find this specific snare sound, and what machine it comes from.

https://voca.ro/1jc06ZIHXXgA - Link to a 1 second sample of the sound I'm looking for, might be a snare or a tom

This specific snare is used on songs like Cats on Mars from Cowboy Bebop and Zoloft by Ween (where this clip is from). I'm 90% sure it's from a drum machine, but it's a separate one from the ones Ween usually uses on their records. Any help would be appreciated, I've already checked the Suzuki Onnichord and the sound is not there. Thank you!

Any idea what this sound is?

I've been hearing this instrument a lot when listening to dmv crank and I want to use this instrument on some of my beats, but I can't find anything on where it came from.

What are these instruments? (1966)

Hello everyone. I'm trying to identify the make/model of the instruments being used in this picture. This is my dad's very first band in 1966. He's the one playing bass and singing up front. Obviously the Fender amp is on the right but not sure what kind.
Any ideas for the guitars/bass/drums/mics?
Thanks!

Hi! This is probably a really simple question to answer, but I was wondering what the wind instrument is called in this video. Could it be a wooden Soprano Recorder?

Thanks in advance!

Been trying to study some reference tracks and the usual BPM/key tools only get me so far

I am looking for something that can go deeper like identify instruments, maybe rough arrangement like intro, drop and not just surface level data

Does anything like that exist or is everyone still doing this part manually?

I just bought a bamboo flute that i cant find any information about or figure out how to play. It has 5 finger holes (3 have bone inlays on the edge) and a blow hole also with bone inlay around that you can blow like a normal transverse flute.

However! both ends of the flute is blocked by bone walls so there is no opening at all except for the blow hole and finger holes. It makes a nice deep dark sound when you blow it with all fingers closed but when you open one hole it jumps up some octave and becomes very hard to get a sound from.

In general it has a nice finish and seems hand made. I really want to know what this is and how i can play it?
