I just bought a bamboo flute that i cant find any information about or figure out how to play. It has 5 finger holes (3 have bone inlays on the edge) and a blow hole also with bone inlay around that you can blow like a normal transverse flute.

However! both ends of the flute is blocked by bone walls so there is no opening at all except for the blow hole and finger holes. It makes a nice deep dark sound when you blow it with all fingers closed but when you open one hole it jumps up some octave and becomes very hard to get a sound from.

In general it has a nice finish and seems hand made. I really want to know what this is and how i can play it?
