Hey everyone! My partner and I adopted this fella (Smudge) from a Humane Society near us a few months back. He is such a playful bouncing baby boi, he has a short double coat and he scream barks lol
His ears alternate between being floppy and suspended mid air and he also does a lil 360 turn with his head
Any ideas? We were thinking maybe some sort of herding breed + lab or hound? Husky pit?
I also added a picture with him and his litter mate if that helps!
anyone wanna take a guess? they had her down as a hound mix. she is around 50lbs right now. she has cerebellar hypoplasia and is a very special girl ❤️😀
She’s about 38lb of love 😃 with an underbite 🤣
What do we think? He is pretty short and very bulldog like so I’ve been thinking staffy x English bulldog. Or a lot people ask if he’s pure American bully. I think with bully breeds it starts to get ambiguous but still curious what yall might think.
Getting DNA test results back soon. Just curious what people think. I’m not going to say what I think so I don’t influence anyone haha. He is high energy, vocal, cuddly, super intelligent, and a Velcro dog. He has webbed feet, super soft brindle fur, and floppy ears. He is just 11 months old and weighs about 60 lbs.
She’s about 6 months old now. Been working on not climbing the cat tree anymore.
I have been told by vets for years, that she is full bred red nose pit.
I don’t believe that for a second bahaha.
When I first got her, I thought maybe she could be almost all red nose. Just the product of backyard breeding? But over the years I find it unlikely, as I have not seen another dog that looks like her. Regardless of size.
She is about 45lbs and roughly 7 years old. She is quite short, and has such a tiny little head for her stout body.
My partner and I have been thinking, maybe she has some chihuahua in her?
I have never seen a dog that looks like her though. Even chihuahua pit mixes.
I have tried reverse image searching on google, and have done hours of research.
I’d love to find some pups with similar features, or learn more about what she could be!
Regardless of her bread, this is a certified good girl. She is goofy as can be, and 100% Velcro dog.
I plan to get dna testing done on her, and my husky mix in a couple of months after I move. But for now I’d love some insight on what others think, and if you know a dog that looks like her thats bonus points!
*I appreciate any cute doggy pics left in the comments :)*
EDIT: I know she is a pit, just wondering if yall think she might be mixed with something else?💕 and thank you for all the insight so far, I think the answer is clear. She is full bred Mowgai!
Had her about 3 months. Suspect she’s lab/pit. What do you think?
Her name Nellie after my great grandmother I’m not sure what her full breed is, but I know that her mother is a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog!
I was at Home Depot and seen this gentlemen with his best companion. The dog is adorable and I didn’t get a chance to ask what breed he was (I imagine a mix).
A bit about him. He's 5 years old and about 75 lbs.
We adopted him from the shelter at 6 months old, and I got a DNA test on him shortly after because the breed they said he was wouldn't get as big as he is! He's a mix of two breeds!
This is just for fun, so don't get stressed! He looks pretty generic! I love when people try to guess his breeds around me because I had no idea!
Shelter dog adopted recently, originated in Louisiana but transferred to our state. Super smart, not much of a barker, super high pitched quiet whine, and she is growing fast. We were told German shepherd and lab mix with maybe Doberman, what do you think?
This is Nova she is about a year and a half old but we’re not sure, She was dumped off at a local gas station that my mother works at and she brought her home for a place to stay. After a few days nobody had contacted us or the vet that she was registered at. eventually the number connected to her microchip had blocked the vet so we kept her. The vet told us that she is most likely German shepherd but that’s all we know. My grandma thinks she’s part husky, and me and my sister think maybe some elkhound? She is very hyper loves to play she loves meeting new people and jumping all over them, she loves seeing old people and jumping all over them, she’s pretty good friends with our English mastiff and they play fight a lot. She gets along with children but doesn’t seem to care for them. Shes chill with any dog aslong as they are chill with her. Shes pretty smart and she’s a good escape artist she also gets into a lot of trouble but shes overall a good dog. When we found her she was already very well trained and Knew to come when she was called and even knew some tricks.
