r/WalkingPads

I’ve been researching for days and I’m honestly stuck.

My requirements are very specific:

Need incline walking (at least 6–8%)(MANUAL INCLINE , I know auto incline is very expensive)

Must have handle (not flat pad)

Should support around 100–110 kg( cause I want my parents to use it too)

I’m not going to jog or run, only incline walking for fat loss

At this point I’m wondering - Does a walking pad with real incline (6–8%) even exist under ₹15k?

If anyone has:

real experience

actual model recommendations

Please help me out. I just want something with real incline for waking

Do NOT buy Zipro walking pads (Decathlon)

TLDR: DO NOT BUY Zipro products (their walking pad electrocuted me several times on the rail) or anything of considerable value from Decathlon. Leaving this here because there wasn't much info online on Zipro when we bought it.

We bought one at a premium price from Decathlon and it was faulty from the beginning. The rail was shocking us! Not only that but also kept turning itself on and changing speed by itself constantly. It was a nightmare to use.

We sent it back for a refund, wasn't even given the option for a refund so they said they fixed it and sent back. Nope, still shocking us on the rail and now they broke the plastic housing for electronics in transit so it's even less safe. The rest of the issues weren't fully fixed either. Sent it back using the packaging they used because I don't enjoy electrocution while walking and naturally it got more damaged on the way. So they are not refunding it either.

Decathlon support is also useless so far. They work with these extremely rude and unreliable couriers that leave the packages at the building front door. Totally unprofessional and extremely unreliable.

How are you all tracking steps with your walking pads?

Are there any pads on the market that report steps directly to Apple health? Mine reports workouts (calories/duration) but it doesn’t update steps.

I have an old Fitbit which I strap to my ankle but I don’t think it’s very accurate and is not that comfortable.

Hi,

I've had the unit for about 13.5 months. Was working fine a couple days ago but today...

Any idea what's wrong and how to fix it?

I’ve had my walking pad about 2 and a half years and would say, on average, I use it for 40 mins 4 times a week. The past few weeks it’s started to make a crazy noise. It runs fine but when I stand on it, it’s awful and feels jumpy. I’ve lubricated it plenty but doesn’t seem to help.

Any ideas? Or has it just ran its course

I will mainly use it for brisk walking, a lot of people say walking pads doesnt last long, but i hope the X218 power together with its premium build quality will last me for at least 3 years.

Anyone using the same model that have been used it for more than a year? What issues have you encountered so far and how often do you use it?
